Great location.
The building is easy to find and very close to the train station. You pick up the key from a local service station, which is convenient. The door /entrance to the flat was harder to find but I think that was because I didn't get all the check-in instructions. I wasn't quite sure which floor or which set of private apartments I was supposed to access with my key card. My two observations of the studio flat is that it was quite hot/stuffy and some of the decoration like the rug and walls were showing wear. There is an air conditioner, but I was using that in May, so I can only imagine what it might be like in August. I think this was due to the way the building is designed. For those that care about these things, the water pressure in the shower was not good, but the shower was very nice otherwise. The location is amazing, right next to the canal and the mailbox centre which has fantastic restaurants with indoor and outdoor seating. There was also bowling and other things in the building itself and a small tesco express grocery immediately next door. I would stay here again for a city break or if I needed to stay over in Birmingham.
