About this property

Mountain View Cabin Rentals is located on 13 acres that joins the George Washington National Forrest. Our newly finished cabin is conventiently located in the middle of several popular attractions which are: Luray Caverns, Luray Caverns Country Club, Cooters, Luray Zoo, Shenandoah River, Endless Caverns, Shenvalee Golf Resort, New Market Battlefield.
Mountain View has many hiking trials around the property, stocked fishing pond, charcoal grill, and a firepit to enjoy as well, We also offer dish network, electric fireplace, 50 inch flat screen TV in family room. Each bedroom has a queen size bed along with 36 inch flat screen TV with DVD players. We offer a fully equipped kitchen. Queen sleeper sofa for additional sleeping room.

Mini vacation

We enjoyed the cabin and the area. We even caught a few fish in the pond. It was near everything we wanted to do. Definitely will book again if we ever go back. Thank you for the wine and smores.

Amazing Cabin

The cabin was perfect. The host was great. The location and area are always great. Super quiet. Loved everything. Dans Steakhouse and Southern Kitchen have great food and are local. SNP is a short drive and is beautiful as always. We highly recommend this cabin.

Virginia Cabin

Stayed in a lovely cabin/home/camp for the holiday weekend with family. It was a nice getaway place and yet close to all we wanted to do. If you want to do some of the Skyline, Luray Caverns or travel farther to the Zoo, this is a great place to hang out. Warm, decorated beautifully for the season and comfortable. The sunsets were amazing to watch from the porch. My granddaughter loved the porch swing, one grandson the pond and the oldest the DVR movies. The fisherman hooked a large (plastic) sunken duck and brought him to the surface to float again. A great spot to stay.

Idyllic Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this perfectly appointed cabin. The fireplace and hot tub were our nightly staples punctuated by star-gazing and the occasional shooting star. Our hosts were prompt with responses and thoughtful with the inclusion of smores. It was a perfect getaway.

Perfect Quiet Getaway

We were thrilled with our last-minute stay in Luray! The cabin was even better than expected after seeing it in person - it has a rustic charm but also includes modern updates for functionality. We were especially surprised by how clean it was, and hope to stay again with friends and family next time! As a side note, the cabin doesn't have wifi but it was an appreciated break for us because we got to enjoy the quiet time together and unplug!

Amazing Cabin

This charming cabin was the perfect place to stay for our trip to Luray. As beautiful as the photos are, it looks even better in real life. Our family of 6 had enough space and enjoyed a nice movie night, a campfire, and board games during our stay. It was a short drive 10-15 minute drive to the caverns. Would definitely try to stay here again the next time we visit the area.

Fun 2-night family stay

We enjoyed this cabin so much. It was very clean, cozy, and the hosts are kind. We picked this one for our family of six because of the location near Luray Caverns. It’s beautiful in the fall. The host help us figure out how to use the hot tub and our kids loved it each night we would relax. The kitchen had all we needed and the bathroom and a half plus washer/dryer were nice to have. We enjoyed dinner and s’mores on the fire pit, walking around the property, then watching movies and playing games at the cabin. We hope to stay again someday!

Beautiful mountain cabin

We truly loved this cabin. It was a perfect meet up spot with my parents (very accessible for my mother who uses a walker). Our daughter loved the s’mores welcoming gift, which we enjoyed every night at the fire. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The large front & back porches were definitely a favorite. The owner was extremely accommodating and communication was always immediate.. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We were very comfortable there and will absolutely be returning.

Unfortunate cancellation due to mom

So my mom fell out of bed and hit her head the morning we were to leave….rushed her to the hospital and obviously could not go on our planned trip!! Owner was very empathetic….we are bummed we were not able to enjoy!!
