Self-catering accommodation in the beautiful North Pennines in a lovingly restored station building,
Station Master’s House near the iconic Ribblehead viaduct has been newly refurbished offering comfortable accommodation over two floors. The excellent comfortable accommodation is ideally suited to those with an interest in nature, walking, cycling or simply relaxing in one of the last untouched wilderness landscapes in England. The beauty of the Yorkshire Dales is literally on the doorstep. In fact a combination of an abundance of lovely local walks and the railway station on the iconic Settle - Carlisle line offers the visitor plenty to do without even needing to get in your car! For the more intrepid the three peaks - Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-Y-Ghent are all accessible on foot.
Layout
Both bedrooms and the bathroom are upstairs. The kitchen, sitting room and dining room are downstairs.
The dining room has a table with 6 chairs. The kitchen is well appointed for self-catering.

An 1875 station master's house of considerable architectural integrity which is maintained to a high standard.
Local Area
There are many great walks all around, with much ‘open access land’ on the tops of the fells.
Ingleton is the nearest town and has a range of cafes, pubs and restaurants, plus a small Co-op superstore.
The main public transport link is the Leeds-Skipton-Settle-Kirkby Stephen-Appleby-Carlisle train service. From Easter to October, there is a Sunday bus service to Hawes, with links to other services.
Getting there
On the Settle Carlisle Railway line or just drive to Ribblehead railway station accessible from M6 junction 36 via Ingleton or via Skipton and the A1.
