Seagrass is an extremely well presented, holiday home that can comfortably accommodate a maximum of eight guests (up to 6 adults) located a short distance away from the award-winning golden beaches of Sandown Bay,

Warmed by cosy underfloor heating throughout, the accommodation in this attractive property is beautifully arranged over three floors,

The Master bedroom with a vaulted ceiling occupies the whole of the top floor with its king-size bed and patio doors leading out onto its own private balcony, offering a sea view in the distance. there is an en-suite shower room with a double width cubicle rainfall shower overhead fitting and handheld attachment, basin and toilet.

On the middle floor are two spacious bedrooms and a family bathroom, with a bath and overhead rainfall shower, both of the bedrooms have one double bed and single bed each.

On the ground floor you have a modern kitchen diner to the front aspect a cloakroom and then a cosy lounge at the rear with a hugely comfy sofa to curl up on and a large Smart TV to watch your favourite films .

Outside to the front is a driveway with parking for one vehicle whist to the rear is an enclosed sloping garden with a patio and garden furniture.

LOCATION:

There are plenty of attractions to keep all ages entertained long Sandown seafront. The Pier and glorious Sandown Bay are just a short walk down-hill from the property. Voted one of the island’s best beaches, so why not stretch your legs along the miles of golden sand or swim in the cooling water of the English Channel. The nine-mile stretch between Yaverland and Shanklin, with Sandown nestled in the middle, demonstrates the wonders of geology, with red sandstone through to the white chalk of Culver Cliff. On a lucky day, the remains of fossils can also be found! If you crave an active holiday, the bay is hugely popular with water sports and you’ll be sure to see people paddle boarding, surfing, windsurfing and kite surfing or catamaran and dingy sailing; weather dependent.
A short walk towards Yaverland, you will also find the Wild Heart Animal Sanctuary, famous for its big cats. The sanctuary, formerly the Isle of Wight Zoo, gained further recognition due to the owner’s relationship with the naturalist and TV presenter Chris Packman. Additionally, a perfect distraction for the younger guests is Sandham Gardens, which is only minutes’ walk from the esplanade. With karting, sky nets, crazy golf and a dedicated play area on offer there should be plenty to ensure a good night’s sleep at the end of the day!

En-suite shower room: double width shower cubicle with rainfall shower and separate shower head toilet, wash basin heated towel rail and shaving point

OUTSIDE
Enclosed sloping garden, with garden furniture (5 steps in the garden)
off road parking at the front of the property for one car.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES / SERVICES:

PLEASE NOTE: a pre-authorised, refundable, security deposit of £350 will be required before arrival at the property. No money will be taken unless any damage is reported at the property within 14 days of your departure.

There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car, unless agreed prior with the owner of the property. If it becomes apparent a car is being charged without approval, then the guest may be charged an additional amount to cover the extra cost.

This is a fantastic holiday property and was extremely well equipped with everything our family needed. A generous supply of towels and consumables were provided, and the property had a look and feel of being new. Checking in and out was very easy, and the overall experience exceeded our high expectations, based on earlier reviews. Even the weather was fantastic! Can’t think of anything.

Thank you for a fantastic stay at Seagrass. The house is excellent. The soft furnishings are truly wonderful, comfortable beds, lovely fabrics and all so clean and new. High quality throughout. The welcome pack was a complete surprise and provided us with breakfast every morning and some jam sandwich lunches too! Thank you. Beautiful view from the balcony. Was an excellent base to travel from. Check in and out was easy.
