About this property
Villa in San Venanzo with 6 bedrooms sleeps 12
Villa delle Vigne is a luxury villa in Italy with a private pool, immersed in the green of the Umbrian hills. Situated in the valley of the Tevere, La Villa is located at an altitude of 450m above sea level. The private villa hire’s unique position hosts a microclimate favourable to vines. Of the 65 hectares La Villa sits on, 6.5 are dedicated to lush vineyards.
A Large Villa to Rent in the Heart of Italy
Classical Italian architectonic structure is blended with vineyards in the Umbrian hills. A patio, greenhouse, and infinity pool create a magical setting that is visually striking. Every external space is liveable, shareable, and treated like a unique setting. In our Italian private villa hire, the utmost attention is paid to every detail to ensure it remains a jewel nestled in nature, perfectly integrated with its surroundings.
Villa delle Vigne interiors have an elegant, rigid style and a rarefied atmosphere. The 2 luxury bedrooms and 2 studios are very spacious and recently renovated. Every piece of furniture is softly modern and combine with the exterior’s settings through big glass windows.
Living
Villa delle Vigne is a large villa to rent featuring elegant open-plan spaces, fusing classic and modern. The vast living area is really bright during the day and illuminated by dim light during the evening. A roaring fireplace to socialize at in the evenings, infuses a sense of intimacy that continues in the rooms and the other areas. A classically modern setting that can narrate the past through the present.
The dining area is a bright and inviting to eat and relax in at any time of day. The wide windows give an equally wide view over the Umbrian valley. The wine cellar, located in the Dependance, is stocked with wine from our vineyard that is sure to enrich your luxury Italian holiday.
Sleeping
All 6 suites/rooms are designed differently but have a memorable style and classic Italian flair. Furnished with a king-size bed and comfortable sofa, each room has its own bathroom with bath and shower. Stylish decoration with warm colours gives you an immediate feeling of well-being. Villa delle Vigne and its spacious rooms are the perfect host for luxury Italian holidays, from reunion gatherings to weddings.
Kitchen
The large villa to rent has a perfectly equipped kitchen, with large work surfaces and beautiful views of the vineyards that make the cooking experience very special. A large French door leads out onto the terrace with stunning views, where your freshly prepared meals can be eaten. Fresh ingredients can be sourced locally, and traditional foods such as salami and mozzarella can be bought at the local market close by. You can also ask our private chef to prepare an authentic Italian meal for you at any time. Don't worry about anything and enjoy the evening, maybe even with a wine from our vineyard.
Outdoor
This villa in Italy with private pool features over 300m2 of terrace. Many covered areas with handmade Italian furniture are the perfect place to relax or perhaps even get creative in. The wide view over the valley, the greenery everywhere and the vineyards give the place a tranquility that makes you forget everything outside. Slow living and getting back to inner serenity are the key ingredients here.
Pool
Holidays with private pools do not get better than with La Villa. The 20m gigantic infinity pool with 360° degree view of the Umbrian nature invites you to spend the whole day in it. Next to the pool are large sunbeds and small tables for reading, sleeping and relaxing. There are also nice umbrellas if you need some sun. Next to the pool there are private toilets and showers, so you can freshen up without getting the house wet.
Umbria Overview
A luxury Italian holiday in Umbria takes you to a region of intimate hill-towns, some inhabited since the Etruscans called this part of Italy home. Its rolling hills and inviting valleys offer a riot of colourful wildflowers in the spring. Criss-crossed bike and walking trails roll over the landscape, some of which follow the route taken by St Francis. In some parts of this impressive landscape, there’s a silence that’s difficult to find in other parts of the country.
Umbria, often called Italy’s green heart, has a powerful sense of tradition. Its towns and cities are smaller and more authentic in many ways, allowing you to see the ‘untouched Italy’.
With magnificent palaces, thought-provoking museums, Romanesque cathedrals and picturesque churches, each with their own place in history, it’s easy to binge on art and culture. Umbria is a remarkable place to get away from it all. It’s rustic, historic and, like many things Italian, romantic – just right for couples looking for some together time. If you’re looking for large villas to rent somewhere a little out of the ordinary to explore on your holiday to Umbria, the Orvieto Underground, built beneath the town’s more recent foundations, is a fascinating subterranean maze of attractions. There are grottos, galleries, cellars and caves, some of which date to the Etruscan era.
If you’re feeling energetic, there are a number of Franciscan walking trails to explore. They include the Sentiero Fransiscano, which runs between Nocera and Assisi, and the Sentiero della Pace between Assisi and Gubbio.
If you’re a music aficionado, head to Perugia’s Jazz Festival, which is held in July, and offers a wonderful range of events. Alternatively, indulge at the Chocolate Festival of Perugia, which takes place in October.
Wine & Dine
Italian food is a delight and the centrepiece of a trip to Umbria. The area in the heart of Italy is renowned for the best food and cuisine. Many restaurants are award-winning and have received top ratings. Freshly made paste & pizza as well as organic meat from cows raised on large green pastures paired with great wines make every dinner a culinary pleasure. Our own vineyards around the villa also have a top rating and are available for you to taste at a wine tasting.
