Peaceful Traveller’s Rest has been sympathetically renovated to provide a comfortable and unusual retreat with all the facilities contained within a set of traditional Lincolnshire barns at hand. On arrival, you cannot fail to be impressed by the large Showman’s Wagon, once used by the families of the men who travelled the country with their steam engines and fun-fairs! This has been retained in its original condition and, together with the smaller traveller’s wagon, these now provide your comfortable sleeping quarters for your holiday. In the adjacent barns, there are all the facilities required for your stay including a modern kitchen/diner with wood burner adding a cosy touch and creating a warm and inviting atmosphere on chillier nights. When it’s time to dine outdoors, you’ll have the pleasure of enjoying meals in the large undercover dining and bar area to relax in after exploring Lincolnshire’s undiscovered countryside. This holiday destination is truly for those with a sense of adventure and a love of the outdoors without foregoing any of life’s luxuries such as a hot shower and a comfortable bed for the night!
Outside, you are surrounded by views of the peaceful Lincolnshire countryside. Take a leisurely stroll along our private farm tracks and look out for all the abundant wildlife including deer, hares, pheasants and many unusual species of birds.
