About this property
Escape and discover the beautiful Causeway Coast from our lovely bungalow
Escape from the rat race & enjoy the coast from this beautifully appointed three bedroom bungalow. Royal Portrush Golf Course (the location of the British Open 2025) is just a 15 minute walk away. Both beaches are less than a mile away. The property will suit families and golfers visiting the area. The house accommodates up to six people offering sky TV , wifi and luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding. There is a bespoke work station for 2 in the living room for those who wish to do some work while they explore.
The space
We have three bedrooms; a room with a double bed; one with a king size bed and one with two singles all with luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding to help ensure a comfortable sleep . The space will suit families, golfers or other groups wishing to experience what this beautiful coast line has to offer. There is a large kitchen with a coffee machine and a cafetiere and a farmhouse table which sits six comfortably. Wifi and a two desk workstation in the shared living area facilitates a little home working too. We have a full sky package including sky sports. Our enclosed outdoor area allows guests to enjoy the sunshine also. We have parking for 3 on the driveway and space for a fourth on the street.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the indoor and outdoor areas including the garage where the washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer are located. Wetsuits , golf clubs and other equipment can be safely stored in the locked garage. We have a few body boards that can be used by guests.
Other things to note
We can faciliate families and provide a high chair and a travel cot with prior notice at the time of booking. The back garden is fully enclosed. We have a good selection of toys, board games, a putting mat and childrens books for the little (and big)ones to enjoy when staying.

About the host

I am Claire and I am from the beautiful Portstewart a stones throw from Escape which is located in Portrush. Being from the area i have grown up with a love of the sea and am at my happiest swimming at West Strand ( a ten minute walk from the property). I am a new host but have spent years travelling so i know what is important to me which is egyptian cotton bedding, coffee and a place where i can catch up on a little work while relaxing. I think i have created this with Escape. I love the property and lived there myself for many years and am excited to share it with guests from N Ireland and from other parts of the world. My husband co-hosts with me and he loves the proximity of the world class golf courses. So it really is a property for families and those interested in golfing or exploring the area.
Why they chose this property
I love the sea, the beaches and beautiful views that the north coast has to offer. I enjoy the odd wee round of golf too, although i am not very good ... just yet :)
What makes this property unique
My property is a home from home with a touch of luxury in terms of the bedding. We have good wifi, sky Tv including the full sports package, two workstations so it really is the perfect place to stay. There is storage in the garage for wetsuits or golf clubs and plenty of books and toys to keep the kids entertained!
