Carbost

Absolutely amazing location!! Beautiful views out every window! Perfect place to stay for touring the Isle of Skye. While there were a lot of high end (luxury) things in the house, it really isn't meant for 6 adults.Perhaps 4 medium sized people. The rooms were tiny and luggage had to be left in the living room. A single couch isn't enough for 6. The kitchen was pretty small for trying to cook in and the counter stools were too big for sitting in if anybody needed to get anywhere. The sun room would be perfect with more chairs. No broom or dust pan to clean up after our spills. Little things like that. Even so, we really had a good time! Thank you!

Quaint place; however overpriced and not as advertised.

The amount of cookware and dining ware are lacking if home is at full capacity of 6. The downstairs shower stopped working on the morning of our departure and drains are very slow to drain. We did not reach out to the property manager since previous attempts to contact went unanswered. The entire back yard is under construction making it hard to enjoy the space. Workers were wondering around the back yard well after 9pm. No pictures of exterior were provided. The downstairs bedrooms were small, luggage needed to be kept in living room. There is potential to be a suitable VrBo, once repairs or upgrades have been finalized.
