The space:
This historic building once housed seven families of charcoal makers, hence its name, the charcoal barracks (Kolakasern). It is newly refurbished and modernised, and has a wood-burning stove, balcony, and beautiful view of the lake. Plenty of windows make the space bright and airy throughout. The house offers privacy, with no neighbours visible. Activities are easy to access, and the nearest shop and petrol station is in Sunnansjö, a 10 minute drive.
The house is split into three flats, which each have their own kitchen and toilet.
The upstairs flat sleeps 7. It has a large dining area where everyone can sit together, large balcony, Apple TV, wood-burning stove, kitchen, living room, playroom with a spare bed, three bedrooms, toilet, and shower.
The downstairs flat sleeps 8. It has a deck area, Apple TV, kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, toilet, and shower.
The studio flat sleeps 2. It has a bedroom, kitchenette, and toilet.
Guest access:
You can access the whole house except for locked storage areas. You can access the garage for beach and garden accessories. At your own risk, you can use the kayaks, rowing boat, lifejackets and garden games.
Other things to note:
