About this property
Situated in Shropshire, The Byre is a beautiful converted barn.
This charming barn conversion, nestled within a working farm, offers the perfect place for groups of families and friends to gather together for special occasions. The interesting and unusual layout spreads across three floors, with a bright and airy open-plan living area, three bedrooms and three en-suite bath or shower rooms.
Upon entering The Byre, you are welcomed by the bright and airy living area, with sumptuous sofas and comfortable armchairs. The sitting area provides the perfect place to relax in front of the wood burning stove on the corner sofa with your favourite film or box set, whilst the cosy armchairs are the ideal place to curl up with a blanket and read your favourite book. Within the sitting area, the dining table seating six guests sits proudly, awaiting you to sit down and enjoy a gastronomic meal together. Take two steps up from the sitting and dining area, to the open-plan bright kitchen area. The well-equipped kitchen offers everything you will need to cook your favourite meal, or to try your hand at creating a delicious new dish. With plenty of home comforts and thoughtful touches, the kitchen area truly feels like the hub of the home.
From the sitting area, head up the beautiful oak staircase to the first floor, where the principle bedroom resides to the right. The principle bedroom offers a vintage feel, with stunning hand-painted vintage furniture, patchwork throws and cushions adorning the cloud-soft bed. The principle bedroom is served by an en-suite bathroom, with a beautiful claw foot bath and an overhead shower. The second bedroom resides to the left of the oak staircase and offers twin single beds, perfect for the children. The second bedroom also enjoys a vintage feel, with the same cloud-soft beds and cosy throws. The second bedroom is served by an en-suite bathroom. Wind your way up the second staircase, which is open-tread, and you will be greeted by the third and final bedroom. The third bedroom offers a country-style feel, with another cloud-like double bed adorned with patchwork quilting and beautiful exposed beams. The third bedroom also features a bright and airy en-suite shower room.
Outside, there is a spacious enclosed terrace area. The terrace area offers comfortable rattan garden furniture, which is ideal for dining alfresco together, or enjoying an early morning coffee in solitude whilst the world awakens around you. The terrace also features a corner sofa, which is perfect for star gazing at night, curling up with your favourite book, or simply whiling away the evening having a catch-up. The Byre also boasts a hot tub, which is the perfect place to spend a tranquil evening together.
The Byre has access to a newly planted wildlife garden. This shared space features lavender, buddleia, fruit trees and cottage garden plants. This beautiful wildlife garden attracts an abundance of butterflies and bees during the spring and summer months, so you can sit and watch them buzzing and flying around the pretty flowers from the corner sofa or the hot tub.
