About this property
Meads Garden Cottage - close to seafront and South Downs
Meads Garden Cottage is set in a peaceful street in the idyllic Meads village part of Eastbourne.
Set just off the Meads village main street, this terraced-style cottage is handily placed if you need to pop out for groceries or for coffee and cake.
The South Downs are an easy stroll away, as is Eastbourne town centre with a larger array of shops, restaurants and bars.
This newly renovated, modern holiday cottage sleeps up to four.
A small front garden area opens to an entry hall, with a tranquil lounge to your left, complete with sofa, armchair and TV.
To the rear of the property is a separate dining kitchen, fully equipped for self catering. This includes a fridge-freezer, oven and hob, dishwasher and washing machine. This floor also boasts a contemporary shower room with a large, walk-in shower.
French doors from the kitchen lead out to a private patio garden, which includes a lounger as well as a small table and chairs.
Upstairs you'll find two bedrooms. The larger has the super kingsize bed - so plenty of space to stretch out. The second bedroom is a double.
While the larger bedroom offers a chest of drawers, the main clothes storage is in a dressing area next to the upstairs shower room, with large built in cupboard space.
All bed linen and regular towels are provided (bring your own beach towel), plus WiFi.

About the host
Hosted by Carl & Sarah Stanger at Exclusively Eastbourne

Exclusively Eastbourne was set up by husband and wife, Carl & Sarah Stanger, after they recognised the need for high quality self catering accommodation on Eastbourne.
Both Carl and Sarah have travelled extensively, lived abroad and enjoyed (and occasionally endured) a wide spectrum of holiday and business accommodation and this experience has shaped their understanding of what makes a great holiday home.
Their ethos is simple - to listen to and understand what guests require and provide only the best holiday homes.
If there is something that would help to make your stay extra special, just ask. Maybe you are organising the holiday as a birthday treat and you need help with the cake or decorations. Perhaps it is a romantic getaway and you want champagne chilling and flowers on arrival.
