Lucky it was in a great spot!
Needs a good scrub, lounge furniture smells like sweat, cracked crockery, no communication as to when cleaner was coming….location 10/10 but apartment including the toilet that nightmares are made of 2/10

Cold day in Hell
Walking up to a cold and sad Council Flat, we were immediately let down. This broke-ass owner left the gas bill lapse, so we had NO Heat or hot-water. Record low temps in London, would have taken a day to heat up. Thats just the beginning. Host tried to cancel with false accusations of underage guests even though we're over 35! I sent VRBO several dozen photos and we were immediately refunded the whole cost.

Clearly a work in progress. But some real issues.
The location is great for exploring the west and rest of the city. Close to tube stations and bus routes. The property is a work in progress which is fine but should be advertised as such. When we arrived I had fix the toilet seat as it moved so much that my kid nearly fell in. After dodging the uncleaned urine on the outside of the toilet I tightened the bolts enough that it wasn’t a danger to my group. This is a cheap fix. There were no instructions on how to turn the heating on and for foreign travelers they would have froze. There were heaters dotted around the apartment that could have been used but didn’t want to use all the electric - see later comment. When we did turn it on, we noticed the boiler was leaking and therefore was a severe health and safety risk. This needs to be serviced ASAP. Or shown to be out of service. After looking around the place I noticed the electric meter only had 8 on there - again foreign travelers would not know how these work or what to do if the electric goes out. A decent set of instructions would help this or loading on enough money to ensure folk don’t get worried. Covering the meter would help too. The cleanliness of the flat left a LOT to be desired. The toilet stank of urine and the toilet was covered in it. The bathroom was dirty and towels were left in a reusable bag - chose not to shower. The previous tenants sheets were left drying on a clothes horse too. The furniture is also worn and damaged. Lots to fix for sure.

El apartamento está en una buena zona, muy accesible al transporte y la ubicación perfecta para pasar unos días.Ahora bien, hemos viajado en diciembre y hacía mucho frío en la calle, la calefacción no estaba puesta al llegar y tardó una noche en calentar la casa (2 personas tuvieron que dormir con gorro y anorak), tampoco nos podíamos duchar con agua caliente, ya que entonces paraba la calefacción. Los radiadores de las habitaciones no calentaban, solo del baño y entrada. La puerta de entrada no es lo más segura y entra aire por el lateral y debajo, por lo que era imposible calentar el piso. Además, una ventana del salón no cerraba. Además, no estaba muy limpio. Había pelos en las sábanas y estaban manchadas. Una de las habitaciones no es como en las fotos y la cama no es muy cómoda. Encontramos un envoltorio de una compresa en la silla del salón. En general, por el precio que pagamos creo que no lo merece.

Handy for central London
The flat is as described in the listing and the rest of the reviews - a bit shabby but perfectly situated for central London, and clean with comfortable beds. It's just across the road from all of the restaurants and supermarkets in Bayswater, but really quiet. We had a problem with the boiler but the landlady got it fixed more or less immediately once I had managed to contact her.

Great flat
Been there with my family on the Halloween weekend. The flat is spacious enough for 4 people. Great area as it's city center and it's very well connected via buses, underground, train etc. The flat comes with cutlery, plates and towels. We loved it thank you!

If I were able to give 0 stars that’s what I would have done. This property was booked months in advance of our trip to London. I started messaging the host a day before our arrival but received no response. We arrived by train to London with still no response. Had to scramble to find alternative lodging for remainder of our trip.

Flat near Hyde park
Good proximity to tubes and trains and town. The area was fine, the flat is basic but clean and Maria was very good communicating with us.

Scary neighborhood
No electricity or water when we arrived. Host did correct quickly. Unit is in a low subsidized building. Lots of on going work going on in unit. Careful upon entry work in entry way could cause twisted ankle
