This cottage was built in 1860, but has all the modern comforts/ fully renovated. This deceptively spacious home has 3 bdrms, fully equipped kitchen/ open plan dining area. A separate living room with a flat screen tv, wifi and electric fireplace. Towels and bedding provided. Sleeps up to 5; 2 king sized / 1 single. A garden courtyard. Great pub, chippy and off licence 3 min walk. Farm shop 4 mins walk. Easy street parking in close proximity. Attractions nearby: Alton Towers, Pools caves, National Park, 4 min drive to town.

Why they chose this property
I bought this house as a way to honour my father’s memory. He always said Buxton was home. I spend time at Harpur Cottage to feel closer to him.
What makes this property unique
My house has been carefully curated to give guests a wonderful homely feel. Guests described my place as “deceptively spacious” and I’ve worked hard to make it feel like a home away from home.
