Le Bistrot du Bastille

Summary:
Welcome to Le Bistrot Bastille! Located steps from Place de la Bastille and within walking distance from many of the main sites like Ile Saint Louis and Ile de la Cite (Notre Dame), the Marais and Latin Quarters. One of the best street markets in Paris is just around the corner on Boulevard Richard Lenoir. The Canal St Martin is a short walk away, as well as Pere Lachaise cemetery. Less than a minute's walk to Bastille metro station where you can access lines 1, 5 and 8. The apartment is surprisingly quiet for it's location as it is on the inner courtyard side of the building, protecting it from the street noise.

The Space:
This 32 sq. meters 1-bedroom apartment is located in the heart of the thriving Bastille area, but it is tucked away in a small courtyard providing a quiet refuge from the hustle and bustle.

BED:

The bedroom has a double bed that can sleep 2 people comfortably.


The Double size Sofa Bed in the living room can be opened to accommodate 1 additional person.

The flatscreen internet-enabled TV in the living area will let you see what's going on in the world with hundreds of channels in many languages and CNN and BBC in English, as well as internet capability to check your email and surf the web directly from the TV.

KITCHEN:

The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, as well as a washer/dryer combo machine for your convenience. There is also a kettle, coffee maker and toaster.

We provide all cookware, utensils, dishware, glasses, etc. We even provide coffee, tea, sugar, cooking spices, oil, and vinegar.

BATHROOM:

The bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet. We provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.

TELECOMMUNICATION:

The apartment features a high-speed internet connection (Wifi), an internet-enabled TV, DVD player, digital radio, and telephone with FREE long-distance calls to over 70 countries.

The TV in the living area will let you see what's going on in the world with hundreds of channels in many languages and CNN and BBC in English. But remember, you didn't come to Paris to care about what's going on in the world. So set it to some digital radio instead, sip some wine and nibble some fromage; now that's  much better !

Calling friends back home or checking your email is simple. Your flat is set up with FREE WIFI and UNLIMITED FREE TELEPHONE CALLS to over 70 countries, including the U.S., Canada and Australia.

The Neighborhood:
The Bastille neighborhood, located in the 11th arrondissement, is a vibrant and eclectic district renowned for its history, energy, and cultural scene. With its thriving food scene and eclectic nightlife the neighborhood offers a blend of historic charm and modern vibrancy. The Bastille neighborhood embodies a spirited atmosphere that attracts locals and visitors alike to its lively streets and energetic ambiance.

Located on vibrant and bohemian Rue De La Roquette, immediately beside the Place de la Bastille, you have hundreds of restaurants, boutiques, cafes, and markets to choose from. The street is full of life day and night, and you will never run out of new places to visit. The apartment stays super quiet though, so as soon as you walk inside you forget the business of the street below.

The wonderful open-air market of the Bastille is located just steps away from your apartment on Blvd Richard Lenoir every Thursday and Sunday

Alternatively, further up Blvd, Richard Lenoir is the open-air market "Popincourt" every Tuesday and Friday.
Both have excellent Artisanal products from all over France. You can shop for all of the freshest French market ingredients to cook your own special meal in your kitchen.
