Wedding weekend

Out family of six adults (two parents, three adult children with one spouse) and our 2.5 yo granddaughter truly enjoyed the house and setting. Lovely and somewhat remote and secluded, but close to Calicoon where the wedding of a friends daughter was. Plenty of room and great place to relax.

Perfect Home in Callicoon, NY!

This home has everything we could need for a stay - including towels, bedding, and numerous toiletries and supplies we might need. The wrap-around porch offered stellar views of the private property and the large pond. There was plenty of room to take our pup for a stroll around the large property and see a variety of wildlife. Plus the three stories of bedrooms provided private sleeping accommodations for our family. Much thanks to Deb for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic Property

Great pond side house in the mountains!

Short drive down to the town of Callicoon, which we loved. Quick drive to Bethel Arts Center, we were in town for a concert. We enjoyed the firepit by the pond at night as well!

Beautiful Property!

Really enjoyed this home - our (adult) family stayed a long weekend for a wedding in the area and there was plenty of space for us all to feel comfortable and to gather together. The fire pit and swim pond were enjoyed by all, as were the great views and prime location. Would stay again - Thanks!

The perfect getaway

The house and property were so perfect for our family. We swam in the pond every day and the dogs had freedom to roam. We saw deer and a family of turkeys each morning and evening. And the house itself was beautiful and had everything we needed; from all the kitchen essentials, to yard games and inflatables for the pond, to even basics for the dogs such as bowls and beds. It was so relaxing sitting on the giant wrap around porch or in the house watching the rain and fog on the rolling mountains. The kids are already asking when we'll come back.

Perfect peaceful weekend

This was the perfect weekend getaway for my family. Such a beautiful house and peaceful setting! We enjoyed swimming in the pond, walking around the property and just relaxing on the deck with gorgeous views. The house was immaculate and Deb (the host) answered all our texts immediately. We hope to return for a visit soon!

Serene get away!

Hidden gem....amazing views and property. Host is excellent and responsive. Amenities are top notch ( cable channels, toiletries, seasonings, fishing rods, logs, floating rafts, chargers, tape, batteries, soap, etc.). Property is really big. Great wildlife views. Felt like a real home away from home. Great for group gatherings.

Very clean, furnished with nice aesthetics an practicality.

A beautiful home with wonderful views. 4 of us guys stayed here to see a concert at Bethel Woods (15-20 min). We brought our guitars and found the great room has great acoustics! The home is outfitted well, and nicely maintained. We would certainly stay here again.

Happiness in Callicoon

We stayed at this property because we were going to a concert at the Bethel Woods Art Center. We had such a great time together, swimming and relaxing before and after the concert. The amenities in this home were perfect. The decor and accommodations couldn't be better. We wouldn't hesitate to do it again in the future.

Amazing Family getaway

What a beautiful property ! We had so much fun, the house has everything you need. Very clean and spacious. We really enjoyed our long weekend getaway, the pond was great, my kids Swam for hours. There is a supermarket near by that is very well stocked. Thank you so much Deborah we can’t wait to go back. Your house will be in one of my top ones we really loved it.

Fantastic Property

New property. Spacious indoors and impressive, large property outside. Great views from the deck. Super clean, quiet. Remote yet close to river towns for activities and dining. Communicating with the host was smooth and everything went as planned. Will definitely look to rent again.

Oasis in the Catskills

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this house. It is everything you could want in a vacation rental. The owner was professional, got back to you right away and was easy to contact. The property was beautiful, clean, stocked with whatever you might need or expect, had great bedding and linens and was tastefully decorated. It was also an ideal property for sharing with other couples as each bedroom was on a separate floor and had it's own full bathroom. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to return for a future weekend getaway.

A Real Gem

This is our third stay at this property. We love it. It's perfect for our family. All of us - adults, kids and our dog - love the property. It's spacious, on a great piece of land, with a great pond and close to everything you could want for a true Catskills experience - hiking, renovated towns and up and coming restaurants. The hosts (Deb & Paul) are extremely responsive and very accommodating. Staying at this property is the start of a great family bonding experience. We couldn't be happier and look forward to returning soon!

Perfect Vacation House

The house is beautiful and well maintained. Plenty of room for 3 adult couples with a private bedroom/bathroom suite for each. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, cups, cutlery, spices, etc. Very nice wraparound deck with beautiful views and plenty of seating. Part of the deck is shaded by an overhang. The grounds are extensive and well maintained with lots of space for our dog to safely roam. The pond is a nice feature and the water seemed clean and aerated via a pump. The property is about a 20 minute drive from Bethel Woods concert venue and only 5 minutes from the nearest supermarket. We would love to stay here again the next time we visit the area.

Total Tranquility!

2 of my friends/colleagues and I stayed at this beautiful home to attend a concert at Bethel Woods with other members of our firm. The home is about a 20 minute drive to Bethel Woods. The layout of the home is great. Loved the open concept of the main floor but we really loved that we each had our own rooms/bathrooms on our own floors! Because of this, this home is ideal for couples and families too. The beds were very comfortable. The property is well maintained and we enjoyed sitting by the fire near the pond one night. The kitchen and the home overall was well stocked with tons of essentials. I only wish we had more than 2 nights to stay. Hoping to return in the future!

Great Family Vacation in the Catskills

Great family vacation in Callicoon, in the foothills of the Catskills! The house was perfect for our family of five: modern, well-appointed and comfortable, set on beautiful property, and in great location for day trips. We really enjoyed exploring the upper meadow trails and swimming in the pond. Spectacular views all around, especially from the wrap around decks… The house is conveniently located -- Callicoon is a five minute drive, Jeffersonville about 10 minutes. There are so many great spots in the local area... We recommend the Sunday Farmers Market in Callicoon, the Jeffersonville Bake Shop, Upward Brewing in Livingstone Manor, and Northern Farmhouse Pasta in Roscoe to name a few. Thanks also to Deb who suggested a great hike: Bouchoux Trail to Jensen’s Ledges. Hope to be back soon!

Great Weekend Getaway

We loved our stay here! We came up for a quick weekend to relax before the kids head back to school. It's a great stay if you have kids. They played outside all day! They fished, swam and caught frogs and loved every second of it. We made smores one night, we walked the property. The kids got a kick out of seeing the wild turkeys at the end of the driveway one morning. Love that the house is dog friendly also. Our pooch had a blast running free and swimming as well. The house was very clean and very well kept and stocked. Deb was very responsive also. The town isn't too far away if you need anything. We took a ride in and walked around. The views are great and night we really loved looking at the billions of stars-amazing! No one wanted to leave. We look forward to coming back! Thanks for a great weekend!

A Stunning Breathtaking location

This property is just amazing.. the warm decor & layout was fantastic !! Comfortable bedding...& couches You can tell that the homeowners are quite worldly paying attention to detail from the kitchen which is a " Chef's paradise" to the window dressings to the furniture and artwork adorning the home. Out of every window in the house you see these beautiful meadows and vast bold landscapes land meets sky ...the sunsets were jaw dropping.. waking up and looking out any window in this property will take your breath away....like drama unfolding.....cool off & just jump into the emerald green pond to start the day... I took several hikes along the property & rode the bikes provided in the utility rm. Miles and miles of farmlands.. rolling hills like a European painting... You daydream.. what a special place this home and property is !!.. so much going on in town & about... friendly artists shops everywhere... colonies all over...I truly enjoyed myself taking drives along the Delaware River seeing the kayaks and rafters jumping into the waters... Sullivan county rocks !!.. this place is a must see... I would totally return... I can't thank you enough... 5 big stars here !!

Country living made easy and in style

A group of friends and I rented this property for 3 nights simply to have a place to lay our heads after a concert at Bethel woods. Not only is the house conveniently located just 15 minutes from the venue, but it's also less than 3 miles from the town center, 30 minutes to Monticello, and miles away from anything that may cause you stress. We enjoyed the farmers market on Sunday and frequented the local adult candy stores- the distillery, brewery, and of course beer world. The house is fully equipped and beautifully decorated for maximum enjoyment. There is a book with all the information you'll need to find your way around the property and local area. The beds are comfortable and the house is very clean. The master suite is to die for, trust me. I still can't decide where my favorite morninf coffee spot is- maybe the deck off the master suite, or the green Adirondack chairs on the patio, but perhaps the rocking chairs on the front porch. The swimming pond is not your average pond. The water is a beautiful blue color and absolutely refreshing. It's clean and has these cute itty bitty frogs hoping around- no snapping turtles thankfully. My dogs and I thoroughly enjoyed jumping off the dock and into that pool of paradise. Overall, I felt like I was living in the lap of luxury in a completely bucolic landscape that exuded relaxation, comfort, and privacy. I cannot wait to return to this property year after year - I'm in love!

Our family resides on Long Island, New York. We bought our country house to explore nature and relax in the peaceful, laid back countryside of Callicoon. Our daughter now 22 has loved every minute upstate and still enjoys heading up there with friends. The country is a tonic for eliminating the stresses of the work week. Our 4 dogs also love the country.

Our home is about five minutes from the town of Callicoon and about the same to the Villa Roma resort. We are about 15 minutes from Bethel Woods concert venue. We are 35 minutes from the new Resorts World Catskills Casino and entertainment venue as well as the new YO1 Wellness Center in Monticello, NY.
