Perched above the village of Ballingham, in Herefordshire, Wye Nest is a newly converted holiday home. The detached coachhouse has a modern and comfortable layout. An open plan living space includes a well equipped kitchen, dining area and a comfortable living area where bi-folding doors open up to enjoy the full view of the river, across the valley and you’ll find all your home comforts including a Smart TV and Wi-Fi for entertainment. The double bedroom enjoys the same impressive view with a juliet balcony too. Outside there is a decked area, where you can cook something up on the gas barbecue or simply sitting out and enjoy the peaceful setting while drinking your morning coffee. The garage below can be used to store bicycles if required (shared with the owners who live next door).
Wye Nest is the perfect bolthole for a peaceful countryside escape. Sat in an idyllic spot overlooking the meandering river below, the picturesque views from Ballingham Hill are to be relished. A popular spot for outdoor enthusiasts, the area is ideal for hikers and cyclists as well as for canoeing and paddle boarding. The village itself is peaceful, with a church and village hall. Most amenities can be found in neighbouring hamlets, less than 2 miles to Carey where you’ll find a rustic country pub and restaurant.
