Within 0.5 miles there is a shop and pub and please note there are no pets and no smoking. Escape to The White House for a wonderful base in County Litrim.

Walkers and ramblers will be delighted to learn that the town is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside, woodlands and lakes, as well as being overlooked by Sliabh an Iarainn, the iron mountain, which is approximately 585 metres high and has a mining history dating back over 200 years. To the north of the town is Lough Allen, the third largest lake on the River Shannon, with excellent angling and opportunities for windsurfing, canoeing and other water sports. If golf is your game, you will find four excellent courses within easy reach. Drumshanbo has something for everyone, whatever time of year you choose to visit.
