Penny Pot Cottage sleeping two guests, is perfectly situated for those who wish to walk or cycle from the doorstep, sitting in a lovely part of Middleham on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park within easy reach of Coverdale, Wensleydale and Wharfedale.
This traditional mid-terraced 3-storey Yorkshire stone cottage, will make you feel like you have reached your destination when you set foot inside this cosy yet modern cottage. Featuring pleasant views from almost every window including views of the castle and of course the special sight and sounds of racehorses clip-clopping to and from the gallops.
Tastefully restored for two guests over three levels, the wood burning stove in the light and airy dining room instantly sets the scene for a wonderful break in the Yorkshire Dales. The spacious kitchen is bright and well-equipped with a stable door leading out to the courtyard and seating area. Follow the stairs to the second floor and you will not be disappointed. Waiting for you is the delightful sitting room with its very own bespoke drinks bar home to a small fridge, sink and Nespresso coffee machine, you will never want to leave as you look across to Middleham Castle.
Perfect for leaving your car behind the cottage is situated in the historic town of Middleham, where you are never far from the Norths leading racehorse trainers and the gallops on which they train, a sight worth seeing as you wander down to one of the many eateries such as the Wensleydale Hotel and Richard III for a pint of local ale followed by a traditional Sunday roast. Days out further afield must include a drive to Harrogate, especially in the summer to enjoy the flowers that fill the town and not to mention a trip down dale to the Wensleydale Creamery for all things dairy, they even have their own tasting room!

With a 5' king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and views of the castle.

With a bath and hand-held shower, wash basin and WC.
Second Floor:
Sitting room
With a bespoke drinks bar featuring a small fridge, Nespresso coffee machine and mini sink, Smart television, Bluetooth speaker, books, games and comfortable seating.
Outside:
Small patio area at the rear of the cottage with garden furniture seating four guests.
Ample free parking on the cobbles in front of the cottage and throughout the village.
Additional Information:
A welcome basket of Yorkshire treats greets you on arrival.
One well-behaved dog welcome (small additional charge).
Infants welcome, however please provide your own high chair and travel cot.
