Spacious cottage with stunning loch views

This large 2 bedroom bright and airy cottage flat sits on the top floor of a Victorian row of cottages which are situated on a hill giving a spectacular view down the Clyde to Arran and up Loch Long to the surrounding hills and the Arrachor Alps. It has private parking for several cars and sleeps 6.

The flat is in the village of Kilcreggan and is walking distance to hotel, pub, cafe and passenger ferry to Gourock. We are also a 5 minute walk to the beach.
The space

Also off the hall way is an internal bathroom with corner bath and an electric shower overhead. The rest of the bathroom suit is white and the room is painted and tiled white with vinyl flooring. At the end of the L shaped hallway is the kitchen, living/dining room. The modern style kitchen offers extensive storage space, an integrated double oven, separate hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The Kitchen has plates, glasses, cutlery, pans and a wide variety of utensils, iron, and ironing board. The kitchen overlooks the rear of the cottages with the garden mostly laid to gravel with areas for planting. Warm house with great view
very cozy property for a short trip. We had a great NY and enjoyed staying warm. There’s a good selection of board games and puzzles, the kitchen amenities are great. Probably the best armchair i’ve seen with a great view.

Great Cottage in Kilgreggan
Ideal location for our brief stay, with a lovely view out onto the Clyde. Smashing little cottage with all the facilities we needed. Hope to return later in the year

Very freindly host but bad weather
The property is hard to enter by car (very narrow and steep drive-in). The hot water makes some problems and you need some instructions to keep it running. To get to the interesting points you need to leave the peninsula and drive quite an hour. The host is very helpful and kind but the weather was our biggest problem (always raining). So we decided to leave four days earlier. We got no refund and the price per week was raised and an additional service fee was requested (even an additional guest fee was taken, but we had no guests) that the resulting bill was the same as if we'd stay four days longer. It would have been better just to say we can't get any refund if we leave earlier than adapting the bill without our confirmation.
