It has a contemporary feel, artistically blending the traditional with the new, and is embraced by a delicately landscaped garden. The cottage is situated in Voelklip in Hermanus, just a short drive from Grotto Beach.

This tranquil home-away-from-home can accommodate 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms. The main en-suite bedroom contains a queen-size, extra length bed, and the bathroom features a large shower. The second bedroom also contains a queen-size, extra length bed, and has access to an adjoining bathroom with a shower. The cottage has easy garden access on both the sea and mountain sides, with the sun-drenched braai/BBQ area inviting breathtaking mountain views.

The house comprises a cosy open-plan kitchen opening onto the TV lounge area. Around the corner is the spacious dining room area overlooking the back patio area. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer combination, an induction hob and oven, a microwave, a kettle and toaster, and a dishwasher, as well as cleaning materials. In the lounge area, guests can be entertained by a 55" smart TV, or simply relax with a book on the leisurely couches. A work-from-home station with uncapped fibre internet/Wi-Fi checks the list for professionals seeking a couple of days of stress free work away from the buzz of everyday life.

Guests can enjoy the outdoor seating area for alfresco dining or sunbathe on the private back patio. Secure parking for 3 cars is also available to guests, and the property is secure with an alarm system. A washing machine can also be found on the premises.

A 10kW power back-up system (inverter) covers all appliances except for the geyser and stove. A wood-fired fireplace / stove ensures cozy warmth during winter.

The location offers access to beaches, a number of restaurants, art galleries and coffee shops. It is also not far from the lagoon and scenic walking and mountain biking trails on the mountain.
