About this property
A charming one bedroom cottage oozing character and charm with a hot tub outside
Blossom Tree Cottage has recently been beautifully renovated to a very high standard and has great attention to detail. The cottage was built in the 1700's, situated on one of the oldest streets in town and is full of character and charm. It is very well thought out to make your stay cosy and luxurious in every way possible. The cottage can comfortably cater for couples or small families. It is the perfect place if you're looking for a relaxing retreat in a central location to unwind and destress, with a 4 seater hot tub outside and a log burner inside what more could you want from a cosy cottage!
The ground floor is open plan with a stylish kitchen and everything you will need for your stay, a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, full sized fan oven, ceramic hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and a dining area to comfortably seat 4 people in the kitchen. The living space has exposed beams oozing character and charm, a log burner so you can get cosy on those cold winter nights, a smart TV and a sofa that turns into a small double bed (this would be suitable for two children aged 2-10 years old or one adult).
Leading up the light filled wood staircase takes you to a spacious beautifully presented bedroom with a comfortable double sleigh bed and blackout blinds ready for the perfect nights sleep.
Next to the bedroom is a luxurious bathroom hosting a freestanding bath, rainfall shower, heated towel rail and WC.
Outside there is a privately enclosed outdoor seating area which gets the sun in the afternoon/early evening during the summer months, ideal for taking your dining experience outdoors. Along with the latest brand new 4 seater hot tub, the perfect end to any day!
The cottage has super fast full fibre wifi (download speed 74 mbps) throughout the cottage.
All bed linen, towels and hot tub towels are provided.
**Travel Cot £30 per stay** (bedding isn’t provided for the cot)
Sorry no pets, no smoking or vaping.
Blossom Tree Cottage is situated very close to the town centre, in close proximity to local shops, restaurants, bars and pubs. There are many to choose from! The cottage is the perfect base if you like amenities right on your doorstep.
If you love the outdoors there is an abundance of walks on our doorstep, one of our guests favourites is Weets Hill, always worth the climb for the beautiful stunning panoramic views at the top! A short drive from the cottage is the very well known Malham Cove, Wycoller, Bolton Abbey, Skipton Woods, Pendle Hill and the Yorkshire 3 Peaks if you fancy more of an exhilarating challenge!
The small town of Barnoldswick lies near the Lancashire / Yorkshire border, which means guests can take advantage of everything these two rural counties have to offer.
Just 8 miles from the charming market town of Skipton the 'Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales', guests can enjoy the local market and the selection of pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants available. Clitheroe and the Forest of Bowland, Lancashires Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is just 9 miles away and offers an abundance of walking, cycling and local gastronomy to try! After a long day exploring and sightseeing the many local places, the private hot tub is a welcome retreat in which to relax and recharge!
