Always Dreaming is a three-story oceanfront custom home located off Old A1A. It offers a stunning view of the ocean and can accommodate up to 16 guests, making it the perfect destination for groups.

This modern house features large windows, high ceilings, beautiful furnishings, and additional amenities to enhance your vacation experience. Situated behind the dunes, it provides a quiet and safe environment for children to play, with the beach just steps away. The breathtaking views, from sunrise over the Atlantic to sunset along the Waterway, will never cease to captivate you.

You will immediately fall in love with the wraparound deck at Always Dreaming. This spacious deck spans two sides of the house and is perfect for sunbathing, stargazing, and relaxation. The deck offers unparalleled views of the ocean and provides plenty of space for both group gatherings and private moments.

Inside, the living room boasts high ceilings and ample seating, with large windows offering stunning ocean views. This versatile space transitions seamlessly from an airy indoor/outdoor room during the day to a cozy, welcoming area at night, illuminated by soft lighting.

Next to the living area, a long, elegant dining table provides an ideal setting for enjoying meals with an ocean view. This open area of the house is perfect for various activities like game nights, family gatherings, and creating lasting memories.

The kitchen, fully stocked with dishes, cookware, and utensils, offers everything you need to prepare and serve meals. It features both major and minor appliances, as well as a central island and large windows that create an inviting and enjoyable cooking environment.

After a day at the beach, guests can relax and unwind at Always Dreaming, with multiple TVs and cable services available for entertainment. The house also features four bedrooms and three full baths, ensuring comfortable accommodations for all guests. It includes a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and spectacular views, as well as three additional bedrooms with multiple full-sized beds. Additionally, there is a sofa sleeper for extra sleeping space.

All linens, pillows, blankets, and bath towels are provided, and guests have access to a washer and dryer to keep everything clean and fresh.

Always Dreaming is located in Summer Haven Beach, considered one of the best beaches in Florida. It offers wide white sands, great shelling, rolling waves, and access to the calmer waters and wildlife of the Intracoastal, along with hiking and biking trails. Perfect for a relaxing family vaca
This was our second stay in this home and it was just as relaxing as the first visit. Having the ocean waves crashing just in front of the house on the jetty makes for very soothing days. The bedrooms are spread across upper and lower levels to give everyone their own space and privacy. There’s a photo on the listing that is misleading, showing there’s a fishing dock on the back that was amazing on our first stay, but it’s now covered with sand due to dredging so no inlet out back anymore. Beach is now only accessible from walking in the sand-filled inlet behind the house around another house, but it’s worth it! Owner was an excellent communicator and we’d book with them again.

Our family really enjoyed our time here. The views from the home are great. The beach is a short walk away. First time for our dogs at the beach, they loved it. Many areas to relax inside and out.Plenty of room for everyone. Home has a really good layout. Great food and activities not too far away.

We enjoyed the home and it's location. The bedrooms were clean, comfortable and had wonderful views of the ocean. Our favorite spot was the outside patio which afforded a view of the Intercoastal waterway and the ocean, with a large table to enjoy our meals. On our first night, the oven gave us some problems. They responded immediately and sent someone out to fix the problem first thing the following morning. While we were able to use the oven, it remained very slow to heat and probably should be replaced. Having said that, we loved our stay and will be booking again for next year.

Lovely view but had some issues
I recently stayed at this VRBO property, and while there were some positives, I must share a few concerns. Firstly, upon arrival, we encountered several live cockroaches in both common areas and bedrooms, which was quite unsettling. Additionally, it was evident that the floors hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, as we found hair and dust balls in the bathrooms and kitchen. A layer of dust was found under the sofa and chairs in the living room when they had been moved by use. Furthermore, there were a few inconveniences in the property. The dishwasher was full when we arrived, and we also found towels in the dryer, which we took out and folded ourselves. Lastly, the middle burner on the stove failed to generate sufficient heat and the oven was not functioning, which limited our cooking options. Despite these issues, the views and location were beautiful, but the cleanliness and appliance issues left room for improvement.

Always Dreaming of Going Back
We had a fantastic vacation at Always Dreaming. The house itself is a nice size, and nicely laid out. The Living/Dining/Kitchen area is all open, so we never felt cramped with 6 adults. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were good, but the real stars of this vacation were: 1. Porches. Front and back were so nice that we spent more time sitting on the porches than we did in the house. The outdoor furniture is really comfortable higher-end pieces. They could have used a little cleaning, but overall, excellent. 2. The proximity to the beach was interesting. The house sits on Old A1A, or what is left of that section. The road itself washed out years ago, and this house sits at the end of the north section. Pictures indicate that we could walk out the front door, turn right and hit the beach. Not so. Because of the stone berm in front of this section of road, you have to walk around the back of the house and around to get to the beach, which was not a big deal at all. In fact, it made it so the beach was very private. 3. The water was so clear and refreshing, it was truly amazing. There were a couple of minor things that don't even need to be mentioned, other than beach chairs and beach toys were just about non-existent. In summary, it's an easy 5 stars for us, even with the bizarre geography and a couple of warts. Before you rent, be sure to look up 'Old A1A at Summer Haven', so you can understand what you'd be getting into. For us, we loved it and will return every year we can

Location is amazing!
Had an amazing weekend!! You can’t get any closer to the water! The home has amazing views out of every window. The beds are comfortable! The walk to the beach is literally out of either the front or back door. The home is fully furnished. The property management was responsive and provided all of the instructions needed before we arrived. Check in and check out was easy! Had a great weekend!

Amazing Location!
This home is perfect for a large family. There is plenty of room for both privacy and gathering together. The views are incredible and the location is amazing! The ocean is in front of you and the inlet is behind you. We all enjoyed exploring the tide pools behind the home during low tide. We were lucky enough to see a lion fish and many other sea creatures. We came home with beautiful pictures to remind us of our stay. Rent this home, you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely loved this home!
I rented this home for a little family get away. There were 9 of us in the house, 7 adults and 2 teenagers. Everyone loved the house. We had plenty of room and never felt like we were on top of each other. With the ocean in the front and the intercoastal waterway in the back, the views are spectacular from every room. The home offers many outside areas to hang out and enjoy the view too. We stayed in December so the wind off the ocean was a little cool, but perfect sweatshirt weather. Loved it so much that we are hoping that we can rent it again. Rent it and enjoy it......you won't regret it!!!!

Fantastic location
The best of both worlds with the beach in front and the cove in the back. Perfect for surfing, fishing, and kayaking depending on the wind, tides, and our mood. Even on a busy Mothers Day beach weekend there were no crowds around us. Added bonus are the huge porches and patios facing every direction, and lots of parking convenient for all the gear we brought. The host really helped make our stay easy and enjoyable.
