This exceptional family friendly holiday home has been designed to a high standard allowing style and a modern feel to flow through the property perfectly. With five bedrooms, four bathrooms, ample on-site parking and plenty of outdoor space, this stunning holiday home will provide a truly unforgettable stay with memories that will last a lifetime. Sleeping up to eight guests, Violet’s View is ideal for family gatherings and friendly get togethers.
The Space:
Violet’s View has been recently refurbished to the highest standard. With premium furnishings and beautiful finishes, you can expect a truly luxurious stay.
Head to the living room and you’ll find a comfortable space with a large leather corner sofa and glass coffee tables. Turn on the flat screen TV to keep up with your favourite shows or spend quality time with your loved ones. Sharing the space is the dining area which includes a large glass table with seating for up to eight guests. A real social hub, this space is great for relaxing with your party.
Fully equipped for self-catering stays, the kitchen has everything you could need to prepare meals easily. Shaker in style, the light cabinets are super stylish and in keeping with the rest of the decor in the property.
Violet's View boasts five spacious bedrooms. There is a bedroom on the ground floor with a single bed. The rest of the bedrooms are located on the first floor, and they include four kings and one single. Four of the bedrooms also include ensuite shower rooms.
There is a family bathroom on the first floor. Here you’ll find a delightfully modern space with a bathtub and overhead shower, wash basin and WC.
Outside you’ll find a large rear garden with outdoor furniture. The perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening tipple, the garden is a real added bonus to this beautiful property.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys are accessed via a key safe box and full details will be provided prior to your stay.
Private on-site parking is available for up to five vehicles at the rear of Violet’s View.
The Neighborhood:
Violet's View is located near all of Whitby’s attractions, and you’ll find restaurants, shops and pubs a short distance away.
The property is located on the East bank of Whitby. This side of Whitby is full of narrow, medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.
Venture over the swing bridge and you’ll reach the West side of town. You’ll be able to revel in the nostalgic seaside charm - head to the arcades or explore the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts.
Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.
Getting Around:
You’ll find restaurants, pubs and shops just in a short distance from Violet’s View.
Whitby train station is located in the town centre so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby, with a stop nearby so you can easily travel into Whitby town centre. From the bus station, hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
The closest airport is Teesside International, 42 miles away from Violet’s View.
