Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location
Very close to a busy street
The house is really poorly soundproofed. From inside and outside. We took only ons shower there. We had warm water for 1 minute and then it went to very cold water. We wouldn‘t recommend the accommodation for a longer stay. We stayed there for 3 nights.

High hopes dashed
First impressions count don't they? On arrival we were met with a stinking bin full of rotting nappies and food waste in the yard. Front and rear gardens were weed ridden and overgrown, gate was broken, parking a nightmare. Entering the property everything appeared ok, until we had a closer look. The cream sofa in the lounge was badly stained with holes in the arm of the chair. Ceiling had water leak damage. In the kitchen, pans were burned dry, in very poor state; the frying pan was dirty with dried-on food. We do not eat take-aways, but like to cook. Hence the disappointment. First floor was OK, comfy beds, new bedding, refitted bathrooms with towels and shampoo . Ensuite, the tap assembly was loose and about to fall out of the wall. Not impressed! We booked this cottage to be close to the hospital for a few days whilst I had surgery; somewhere where my wife could relax until I was discharged. Whilst Pillow Partners were as helpful as they could be, removing the bin and sending a cleaner over to check the pans, the responsibility of any replacement items is that of the owner. On our first day, my wife was visited by the owners, and was told there was nothing wrong with the pans. She was given another second hand stained frying pan and told she had two choices; stay or go, he didn't mind either way. There was no excuse for his rude comments. We paid for 5 * but got 3* service. Needless to say we are not happy and would not recommend this to like minded people.
