Great location but shabby condition

The apartment was in a great location, but the furniture and fixtures were in shabby condition. The ceiling fan in the bedroom did not work and the air conditioning filter needed cleaning. The bathroom was in poor condition, the shower did not drain well, and the shower door needed a good cleaning. The stairwell did not have enough light and the front door was broken in places. I was very disappointed in the overall condition of the apartment and the building itself. In addition there was no elevator and this was not advertised in the listing. I would not stay here again.

Great location!

Check in was easy since we came when the office was open. I think off-hours check in was going to work out if we'd needed it. It was fast and easy to get clean sheets and towels plus trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels when we needed them with a message on whatsapp. It's an easy (under 10 minutes) walk from the Xativa Metro station (or Estatio du Nord) to the apartment, making it convenient to get there from the airport (or train station). Hot water was excellent! It reminded me of my first apartment in a Major City. Nice enough. Furniture is Ikea and Ikea-like stuff you'd expect i n a short-term rental. Kitchen is functional. There's a water kettle, drip coffee maker, microwave, and toaster. Refrigerator is big enough (huge by European standards!) to make up for there being almost zero food storage (like every other short-term rental I've ever seen). Several grocery stores are a very short walk, plus the beautiful market. There was dishwashing liquid and a sponge that appeared to be new. The place was reasonably clean, though the shower had some mold in the grout. Mop and bucket, broom and dustpan are available, though no other cleaning soap for the floor or bathroom (our stay was almost 2 weeks). The place could use a deep clean, but it was about what I would expect at this price point. There was someone there cleaning every day, and the office was just downstairs if we needed anything.

Lamentablemente no pudimos alojarnos ya que la persona encargada de enviarnos los codigos de acceso al apartamento no lo hizo al igual que la persona de contacto de la inmobiliaria estuvo inoperativa e ilocalizable hasta las 18.00 horas. NOS DEJARON EN LA CALLE LITERALMENTE NO VOLVEREMOS A CONFIAR EN ESTE TIPO DE ALOJAMIENTO NI EN LA GESTION DE LAS EMPRESAS GESTORAS: - EXPEDIA - VrBo - Ciutat Valencia
