Enjoy a restorative break in this lovely annexe surrounded by picturesque countryside, a wild flower garden and plenty of walks from your doorstep in West Shropshire.. Ground Floor:

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Underfloor central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and fuel for wood burner included. Stairgate. Patio and garden furniture. 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: This property has a natural water supply via a borehole, which passes though a UV unit for the drinking water. Waste is served by a septic tank. . Surrounded by the stunning countryside in the Clun Valley, this pleasant annexe is the perfect spot for a couple looking to escape the hustle and bustle. By the front door is a patio with table and chairs, to help you make the most of the surroundings. After a day of exploring the area, enjoy uninterrupted stargazing at the spectacular dark skies. The annexe feels contemporary and spacious with an open plan living and dining area on the first floor, flooded with natural light. The wood burner adds a warm touch, to snuggle up and enjoy a film on the TV in the evening. The well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor has everything you’ll need to whip up anything from quick breakfasts to hearty post-hike dinners. The kitchen has an emergency door leading into the owners garden.
The bedroom area is on the top floor, where you’ll find a kingsize bed and an additional day bed, creating a cosy reading nook in front of the window or is a nice option for accommodating a child or third guest. The outside space is perfect for bringing along your furry friends, with lots of areas for them to roam, the owners have spent time on their garden and have created a beautiful wildflower garden to enjoy at certain times of the year.
Exploring the rural countryside and nearby areas like Ludlow, Bishops Castle, and Knighton sounds like a perfect way to spend your time whilst staying at the Dingle Cottage. The historic town of Clun is full of curious buildings, a museum, shops, cafés and a castle, as well as the ancient Packhorse Bridge. There’s a calendar of events going on throughout the year, from carnivals to food and drink festivals in Clun and the surrounding areas. An ideal base to explore this beautiful Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, wildlife enthusiasts, cyclists and keen walkers alike can enjoy paths from the annexe, such as the Shropshire Way, the Jack Mytton Way, and Offa’s Dyke which offer miles of scenic walks. There is lots to see and do in the area such as hang gliding on the Long Mynd, foodie events in the town of Ludlow, the multitude of museums at Ironbridge Gorge or the majestic Stokesay Castle, to name but a few.
