LOCATION
The charming and well-established neighborhood of Marbesa offers a peaceful location close to the sandy beaches 11 kilometers outside of Marbella.
Many of the properties here are in walking distance of the shore with many amenities in reach, e.g. private/international schools, clinics, shops, supermarkets, restaurants, beach clubs, spas, cafés, tapas bars, gyms, tennis clubs and golf.
These well-located residential areas with little passing traffic offer an ideal living environment close to all but surrounded by greenery and sea views, making Marbesa urbanizations a little gem sometimes overlooked but well worth discovering.
A few minutes away you will find Elviria which has long been a popular holiday resort with its famous Nikki Beach Club. The internationally renowned Santa Maria Golf & Country Club is also located here; with two challenging 18-hole golf courses.
For golf enthusiasts the choices are many, and by car you have plenty of other popular golf courses within reach as well. The Costa del Sol is said to be the best region for golfers in Spain.
GETTING AROUND
Go by car and discover the area of Costa del Sol. Marbella City center is only 10 minutes away by car and Fuengirola 20 minutes away. Parking is made outside the gates of the urbanisation.
The closest bus stop is at the main road, a 10-minute walk from home. It has frequent departures in the direction of Marbella or Fuengirola. From the Fuengirola bus station, on Calle Jacinto Benavente, you can take buses along the Costa del Sol, west to Algeciras and east to Malaga. There are also other services across Andalucía and daily, but less frequent, services to Cádiz, Coín, Córdoba, Granada, Madrid, Ronda, and Sevilla. You also have a lot of opportunities if you chose to travel from the bus station in Marbella instead.
The Fuengirola station is classified disabled-friendly, it is an underground station and step or elevator are needed to reach platform level. From here you can catch the train to Malaga which takes 48 minutes via Benalmadena, Torremolinos and Malaga Airport. The Cercanias train conveniently connects with the main line trains in Malaga Maria Zambrano station for high-speed trains to Madrid, Cordoba, Sevilla, and other parts of Spain.
Uber and Bolt is always easily accessible.
