A pathway next door will take you to the Amanhecer café and bakery, snack-bar/restaurant with takeaway and mini-market. A 10 minute walk will bring you to the centre of Loreto, where you will find additional facilities.
This has to be one of the best refurbishment of all villas in Madeira, and where you will experience a little of Madeira traditional living.

Entering the property from the car parking area, you come to the open plan dining and kitchen area located in the ground floor of the original cottage. An extension incorporates a dining counter and contemporary shower room and leads to the large covered barbecue room with built-in Madeira barbecue, dining table and table football. In the back yard, with views of the surrounding countryside, are loungers and a sun umbrella, allowing you to soak up those rays of sunny Calheta.
Leading up from the open plan dining room are stairs to the open-plan landing with two single beds, that opens to the first floor terrace with beautiful countryside and sea views, as well as the separate master bedroom.
Outside a large gate opens to a secure car parking area suitable for 2 cars.

The resort of Calheta, 6 Kma away, with its man-made beach and marina, offers a larger selection of restaurants and a large branded supermarket.
Cleaning
Cleaning and linen change is provided every 7 days.
All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool.
For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.

The rental value varies with the number of people occupying the property, so please ensure you enter the correct dates, number of adults, children and infants. Please note that supplements apply should additional people join you for any length of time.
To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
A security deposit of 300€ is required by credit card prior to check-in.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
This property is a self check-in unit and check-in time is 16:00 or after. A code will be provided for access to the property.

Leaving the airport take the motorway (Via Rápida) West in the direction of Funchal and after this to Ribeira Brava. Travel for 34. Km.
When you reach the end of the motorway (approximately 35 minutes) keep on the right hand lane and follow the signs to Ribeira Brava – Ponta do Sol.
The slip road will lead you to a roundabout. Take the first exit to Ribeira Brava and drive towards the sea for 1,4Km. You will reach another roundabout. Take the 1st exit into the tunnel and you will now carry on for 3,9Km until you reach the roundabout of Ponta do Sol.
At the end of the tunnel you will reach another roundabout; take the 2nd exit , signposted Ponta do Sol and drive through another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel.
At the end of this tunnel you will come to the roundabout of Ponta do Sol; on the left you will find a petrol station and mini market. Take the 2nd exit into the next tunnel and drive for 2,8Km.
At the end of the tunnel, at the roundabout, turn sharp right into the next tunnel (signposted Calheta).
At the roundabout (1,6Km), take the first turn-off, signposted to Calheta, drive through the next tunnel for 1,8Km.
Reaching the next roundabout, take the first exit following signs to Arco da Calheta and drive up 100metres until you reach another roundabout.
Take the 1st Exit (past the car dealership). Signposted Rabaçal/ Farmácia/Casas de Santo Antão/Pico da Urze and drive for approximately 1.4Km's.
Drive up the hill for about 1.4km until you reach a T-junction.
Turn right on the T-junction to Rua Nova do Loreto and follow the road for another 400m and you will reach Villa Loreto.
