About this property

Chic, spacious updated two level corner unit townhouse. Freshly painted a serene light gray, brand new barn wood flooring, all new lighting and clean as a whistle. Upside down living. 2 bedrooms on the ground floor each with their own full bathroom. Bedroom 1: king bed, bedroom 2: queen bedroom with a deck off that bedroom. High quality mattresses on both beds. This floor also has a washer and dryer so you can do laundry before you go home!
Upstairs is a beautiful bright open space that contains a living, dining and kitchen area and a powder room. High ceilings and skylights make this a great place for family gatherings. A wood burning fireplace is perfect for after skiing or on those cool fall evenings. (there is firewood in the shed right outside the front door!) The dining table expands to seat 8. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to have a real home away from home. The sliding glass doors lead out to a balcony with a gas grill that looks right at the ski slopes on Windham Mountain. Sit in the adirondack chairs out there with a glass of wine and breath in that mountain air! Comfortable cozy furniture with a couch, love seat and 2 bucket chairs that swivel for TV viewing. The couch is a double bed pull out for extra guest. There are cozy shag floor rugs if kids want to camp out on the floor for sleeping or watching a movie.
Full cable and Turbo Internet with Wifi so you can stay in touch and work if you need to.

Less than 5 minutes to Windham Mountain. 2 minutes down the hill to Windham's cute downtown area with a brewery and great restaurants. 5 minutes to the Wyndham Day Spa, an amazing little slice of heaven for serenity and great treatments! 5 minutes to the Wyndham hiking path. 5 Minutes to Windham country club and golf course. Mulligans Pub, overlooking the golf course, is one of our favorite places to go and has live music Fridays in the summer! 10 minutes to Hunter Mountain activities: zip lining, disc golf, fly fishing, 4x4 adventures and sky ride. Great townhouse for a relaxing family vacation or a girls or guys weekend.

Gem of a find!

We loved the whole Windham community from the walking trails, the Art Gallery, Briars and Brambles book store, the most unbelievably family focused Movie/Arcade/Ice Cream Parlor/Subway/Laundrymat we have ever seen! The restaurants were awesome…especially the breakfasts…, the views spectacular and the atmosphere at Ze Windham’s was the perfect way to end a fun day out! Can’t wait to return and stay at this cozy condo!

On Golden Pond

I absolutley loved the close walking distance ,1/4 miles>to town and the views from the two decks onto a beautiful pond. This is a very quiet location with a lot of sun! We were there in eary october and the colors were on fire! A very cozy place to be!

Great home away from home very cozy

Super great a lot of extra little things there that you would normally forget. Plenty of space for the 6 of us to rest our heads after miles of mountain climbing. Great kitchen to cook meals. And a jacuzzi tub to help sore muscles. Fantastic. Thanks so much

Wonderful Escape!

This was exactly what we were looking for! It's right in the mountains but within walking distance to the main town so you get the best of both worlds. My friend and I were looking for a bit of an escape from our everyday, and this has both outdoorsy adventure fun, and cute town amenities. There was a lot to see and explore. The property itself was so cute and very clean. Maureen was a wonderful host! I would definitely recommend this to everyone I know!

Great time!

Spent the weekend at this property with my husband and two kids. The property is exactly as it is presented in the listing. Great location with views, comfortable beds, 5 min from Windham mountain. We walked the Windham Path and took the kids to have the afternoon at this great farm about one mile down the road where they were able to groom ponies, ride ponies and walk and feed the goats. Overall it was a great stay, we will return! Thank you

Comfortable and great view

About the host

We are a family of five who spent many winter weekends skiing up in Windham in our cozy condo. The mountain has a great children's learning center and kids ski school where our kids learned how to ski. Mom and Dad can ski with older kids while the toddlers are having a great time at the center. My kids loved it there and didn't want to leave at pick up!

Why they chose this property

The condo is 5 minutes drive to the mountain which we loved because we it made everything so easy. They even have valet parking there so you can unload your stuff and go!

What makes this property unique

So many of our great family memories were in this cozy condo. Many nights spent around the table eating a good meal then playing games or watching a movie in front of a the fire! It's close proximity to NYC makes it so easy to get to.
