We booked here for a short honeymoon as we wanted to bring our little dog. The cottage itself is gorgeous, though the access roads to it could do with maintenance, our car is not a low car, but we scraped the bottom numerous times.
There's gorgeous views and you can tell alot of care and attention has gone into the renovation. A well equipped kitchen, lovely big bathroom and bedroom, and a second bathroom downstairs with a washer/dryer. The living room is very cosy and has good WiFi and smart TV, however I found the feather filled sofas very uncomfortable.
Theres plenty of walks around, and it proved a decent base for a few days of exploring the surrounding towns and villages, just being wary of the access roads.
Some reviews mentioned a welcome pack, and I've been to plenty of similar standard cottages before where a small amount of milk for tea and coffee and maybe some biscuits have been left, but there was just a note on the kitchen table about recycling, which is a shame, as being able to make cuppa before going shopping would have been welcome after a long drive.
