The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size (zip/link, can be twin on request) with sofa and TV, a king-size with en-suite shower room and a king-size, serviced by a shower room. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn and furniture, as well as off-road parking for two cars. Within 0.3 miles, you will find a shop, within 0.5 miles, a pub and within 1 mile, Derwentwater and please note that two well-behaved dogs are welcome (at an additional charge) but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Tandarra is a charming base for your next getaway in Cumbria. Note: Check-in from 4pm, check-out at 10am.

From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.
