Excellent property.
Small complaint that photographs of the outside seating area were a bit misleading but the quality of the house made up for it as it wasn’t warm enough to sit about outside.
Laburnum Cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable and homely. Gill has provided everything that you could possibly need and more. The cottage is full of character and is such a lovely place to relax after a day exploring in the Dales. Gill is a wonderful host and a her communication throughout our stay was really helpful and prompt. We would highly recommend a stay for anyone who wants a comfortable, cosy cottage in the heart of the Dales.
The owner messaged two days before our arrival to request a bank transfer for a substantial damage deposit, this caused undue stress as I was not informed at the time of booking. Vrbo were very helpful and advised me not to pay. I wish I had cancelled as the property decor was old and shabby and the sofa and rug were grimy.
Although the location was so beautiful.
