This just remodeled modern studio is the perfect getaway spot to enjoy your Waikiki vacation! On the 36th Floor, you have incredible views of the city, the mountains, the Ala Wai Canal, and even some ocean between the buildings. The condo comes with a kitchenette that includes hot plate, full size refrigerator and utensils. The location in the Hawaiian Monarch Hotel is perfect for exploring Waikiki, with the beach only about a 10 minute walk, and near shopping, restaurants, and night life.

This private condo is for the discriminating traveler who wants to stay in a clean, cozy, and modern 212 studio with a kitchenette and an awesome view! It is a studio condo with no separate bedroom. The furniture is new, with a queen bed, and a new 40" flat screen TV. It's just a 10-minute walk to the beach and on the way you'll pass all kinds of fun stuff, restaurants, bars, shops! Our guests have described the view as 'Awesome". The view is of the city, mountains, the Ala Wai Canal, and some ocean view also. Parking is $40-45/day.

This condo is in the Hawaiian Monarch Hotel, just a few blocks from Waikiki Beach. There is a pool, Jacuzzi, coin laundry, car rental, great restaurants, sports bar and a night club on the premises. This is a privately owned and managed condominium and please be assured that all your needs will be met conscientiously and professionally. We want to make your stay a happy one! You might want to check out my other listings too. The neighborhood is near all of Waikiki's attractions. Located at the "gateway" to Waikiki, the Hawaiian Monarch overlooks the beautiful Ala Wai Canal. Enjoy the roof top recreation deck with its swimming pool and panoramic views of Waikiki. Surrounded by outstanding dining and shopping establishments and the exciting entertainment and night life of Waikiki, you'll find that the Hawaiian Monarch is in a very convenient location. Stroll to the Hawaii Convention Center and the huge Ala Moana Shopping Center. The Hawaiian Monarch is within easy walking distance to Waikiki Beach and Ala Moana Beach Park. Jump on a bus to Ala Moana Shopping Center, Aloha Tower Marketplace, and Chinatown. Visit the Army Museum at Fort DeRussy, then walk the beach walkway to the Hilton Hawaiian Village and its Rainbow Bazaar.

Friendly owner but place is so-so
The owner was super friendly and quick to reply to all my messages. Larry has great hospitality services. We appreciated that the place got renovated. The unit was clean too- sheets/ bathroom/ etc. Overall the unit itself is not too bad. However, the cons is the building is very old. When we first arrived, the building had an eerie smell. There may have been problems with the vent/ air/ sewage. As such, the air in the building was not so great. The walls are very thin. We could hear people talking throughout the night. The AC is also oddly situated in the unit as it is right next to the bed. So if you have it ON, air is blowing right onto your head. Location was not too bad, as it is a short 10-15 min walk to Waikiki beach.

Roaches!!! Horrible & False Advertising
DO NOT RENT/ NASTY - ROACHES My husband & I rented this place out due to the pictures and the reviews. Upon arriving the first thing you notice is that the location is not in the best neighborhood & the entire building smells and looks very old! When we opened the door to the room, NOTHING & I mean NOTHING was what was advertised! The chemical smell was so bad, we couldn’t even stand in the room. The second we walked in a roach ran across the floor. There were roach bait boxes literally in every corner. There was only two pieces of furniture which were in no way “new”. Not even the bed was advertised right, it was a crappy mattress on top of a plain old school Walmart bed frame. When we opened the closet door, more roaches came out. We left & immediately searched the island for a last min hotel for the week which you can imagine wasn’t cheap! We messaged the owner and he was apologetic AT FIRST! We asked for a refund obviously! & at first he said yes. Once we talked to VRBO (who by the way is great) we found out we would not be getting a 100% refund because the owner refused to cancel the reservation on his end because it would effect his ratings!!! Yep!! Doesn’t care about anything but himself! Extremely disappointed, nasty room & we will be writing reviews constantly and talking to everyone possible so that this place gets shut down. We have pics & lots of videos.

We spent 9 days in this cosy condo and we loved it. Waikiki beaches are very close, about 10 mns walk. Nice bakery at the lobby level. The owner of the condo is very kind and available. We will certainly comeback. Thanks again Larry!

My friend and I had a very nice stay for 5 nights. The room is comfortable and styled nicely. The luxury towels in the bathroom were a treat! The Room was clean and exactly as advertised. The owner Larry was very personable, and contacted us a couple of times throughout the week to make sure things were going well. I have no real complaints other than please take the wheels off the bed as it rolls away from wall several times a day. 😀 Also be aware that parking is a cash only deal. If you are hear 10 days they will Be asking you for $250 cash up front. All and all the hotel/room was a great experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again!

Fantastic location, great views, clean and tidy
A great centrally located 36th floor condo within walking distance to Ala Moana Mall, Hilton Village beach, and several trolley stops. An affordable modest clean residence so convenient to everything Honolulu / Waikiki. Close to the trolley line to get you anywhere you want to go. We came without a vehicle and enjoyed the location. We definately will rebook the next time we are in Honolulu. Thank you Larry for the great hospitality and super easy and simple access.

Location with views for days!
I booked this Airbnb for my parents’ stay in Waikiki. It was small which was expected but fully stocked and very clean. Great value for the price, especially in Waikiki. They loved the view and the fact that they could walk everywhere from their building. It was a great home base. The only things to note were that the curtains were very sheer, letting the light in which made it difficult to sleep in and it would heat up the room in the afternoons. But the AC worked very well in the unit. Also, make sure to check under the bed - my parents found beach chairs and an umbrella on their last day and they were bummed they didn’t look sooner! All in all, it was a great time. They would stay again! Larry, the owner, was very responsive to all questions and made sure to check in with them to make sure everything was okay. Thanks Larry!
