The Townhouse Richmond is a stone-built mid terraced cottage, tucked away in a quiet courtyard just behind the bustling market square in historic Richmond. A perfect holiday retreat for couples or friends with everything close at hand.. 3 steps to entrance.

Bedroom 1: Zip And Link Super Kingsize (6ft) Bed, Smart TV Ensuite: Double Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet
Second Floor:
Bedroom 2: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, Smart TV Ensuite: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating (partial underfloor), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Highchair. Welcome pack. . Sitting-out area. Parking permit included for 1 car in public car park. No smoking.. A perfect social space with modern stove and Smart TV, perfect to return to and relax and chill after a day of exploring. A cosy dining space tucks under the staircase, and a compact shaker style kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to rustle up a tasty brunch or supper. There’s even a handy Nespresso machine to make your morning brew! And so to bed…upstairs two beautiful bedrooms with plush carpets and tasteful furnishings, luxury linen and deep mattresses. To the first floor is a super kingsize zip and link bed which can be twin beds on request giving greater flexibility. It is decorated in relaxing hues of grey and lemon, with en-suite facilities underfloor heating. On the second floor is a kingsize bedroom, with vaulted ceiling and beams, a soothing decorative palette, built in wardrobe space and en-suite facilities and mood lighting. Outside is a raised seating area which catches the best of the afternoon sun and a welcome spot to enjoy a cup of Yorkshire tea after your day of exploring.
Richmond offers a diverse location and caters to all tastes. Famously known as the ’Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales’, it is surrounded by stunning countryside and picture postcard villages and is ideal for keen walkers and cyclists alike with a range of routes and trails nearby for all abilities. With much to do within a short stroll, The Townhouse Richmond is perfectly situated for your stay. The cobbled market square and quirky lanes leading off, have an abundance of independent shops, galleries and coffee spots. You can enjoy a hearty breakfast or evening meal with a wide range of eateries. The Norman castle dominates the skyline and a great place to start exploring. Riverside walks meander around the town, take a picnic or enjoy a walk to nearby Easby Abbey. En-route visit the recently converted station, where you will find a deli, artisan bakery, microbrewery and coffee shop. Look around the art and craft exhibitions and independent shops. To enjoy the wider area, visit one of the many pretty Yorkshire towns or villages, such as Thirsk, Ripon, Harrogate, Leyburn, Hawes or Reeth, all of which are accessible within a short drive. The cathedral city of Durham is just over half an hour away, and is certainly worth a day trip to explore, as is historic Barnard Castle and Bowes Museum.
