Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Front garden with garden furniture (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. As soon as you step through the front door of this cosy cottage, you instantly see some of the character as you are greeted by a wood burner and comfy sofas, inviting you to fall into their comfy embrace in front of a roaring fire. As you move through the property, you step into a modern kitchen/dining room which has all the amenities you need to prepare anything from a simple sandwich to a Sunday roast. There is a door leading off the kitchen to a modern bathroom with a deep bath and shower above. Returning to the living room, a second door leads upstairs to two bedrooms, a twin and a double bedroom.
One of the main attractions of this beautiful cottage is its location, the cottage is surrounded by hills and stunning scenery and has some stunning walks right from the doorstep. The local area boasts hills, rivers, lakes, waterfalls and even caves to explore so the walkers and cyclists in the group will be spoilt for choice. The area also has easy access to some of the Lakes most popular attractions, with Hawkshead, Coniston, Ambleside and Windermere all being easily accessible, so if you feet are tired or you prefer less energetic past times then, you can shop to you drop in the vast array of independent, gift shops, clothing and other shops in the local towns, or maybe you prefer to enjoy a wide range of tasty cuisine.
There is also a variety of museums and attractions available, or maybe learn more about Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter who called this area home and helped to inspire their writings and then finish of a day’s adventures with a drink in a traditional pub sampling one of the local brews. There is something for everyone and every age to enjoy and this lovely cottage is the perfect base from which to create lifelong memories. Pub 1¾ miles.
