Weekend In Belfast
This property is in a convenient location on a main bus route to the city centre. There is also street parking if needed.
The house itself is in some need of refurbishment- stained and flaking paintwork. Damaged flooring and furniture. Front door is difficult to lock and unlock.
In terms of equipment it is very poorly appointed. This property should host 4 people there were only 3 plates, no spoons, 1 saucepan, no bottle opener - I could continue. There is an iron but no ironing board. No bath mat or hand towels.
We were three guests and we received only 2 towels. Bedding very poor quality - paper thin quilts and only 4 pillows in the entire property. Mattresses were very poor and in need of replacing.
In the refrigerator we arrived to find partially consumed milk and water and the presence of mould in the fridge. In addition poorly washed crockery on the draining board with items still covered in no lipstick. Other areas of the house were also poorly cleaned.
On top of all of this the owner uses a pre pay electric meter which started to alarm every 30 minutes during our stay due to low credit.
We contacted the owner on arrival to raise concerns he only replied 17 hours later when we raised the issue of the electricity meter. At which point he started texting instructions for me to top up.
This is one of the worst properties I have ever stayed in and would not recommend to visitors. It is very overpriced and both the service and the property were poor.
