Ty Gwyn is a well-presented cottage housing a kitchen/diner and sitting room with woodburning stove. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and for entertainment there is a TV with Sky and WiFi. The bedrooms include two doubles and a bunk, served by a bathroom. To the outside is ample off-road parking and an enclosed patio with bench, hot tub and a swinging chair. Within 3.9 miles or less there is a shop and pub and please note, one pet is welcome but sorry, there is no smoking. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels included in rent. There is also a travel cot, highchair and stairgate available. Escape to Powys for a charming holiday, whatever time of year. Note: If booking for a week the hot tub will be checked mid stay

The annual Llanfair Caereinion Carnival is very popular with locals, and proceeds through the town with a full parade of floats and dancing troupes, providing a Rio carnival atmosphere. There is a river walk along the banks of the Banwy leading to an Arboretum, containing over 25 different species of British trees, an ideal place to explore before stepping back in time and jumping on the start of the narrow gauge heritage steam railway that runs 8.5 miles west to Welshpool. Welshpool nestles into the upper reaches of the picturesque Severn Valley near the border between Wales and England. This bustling market town is surrounded by rolling hills and glorious unspoilt countryside.
