Sitting room with Smart TV and woodburning stove (logs are not provided), and a lower-ground-floor sunroom. The bedrooms each have a TV and consist of lower-ground-floor super-king-size (zip/link can be twin on request), a ground-floor super-king-size (zip-link can be twin on request) with en-suite shower room, a ground-floor twin (zip/link can be king-size on request), a super-king-size with en-suite bathroom, a super-king-size with en-suite shower room, a twin with en-suite bathroom, plus ground-floor bathroom and lower-ground-floor shower room. Enclosed rear patio with furniture and off-road parking. Within 0.7 miles there is a shop, pub, and lake. No smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included. Please note: Fuel for the BBQ is not included.

Town: Lying at the northern tip of Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake, Ambleside makes a superb base for touring the central Lakes, with Grasmere and the Langdale Valley just a short drive away. There is plenty to do here - cruises, boat trips and watersports on Lake Windermere itself and numerous shops, restaurants, and pubs in the village to suit all tastes, including the popular eateries of Misto, Sheila's Cottage, and The Lily Bar. On the lakeside at Waterhead, the parkland offers lovely views down the lake and a short stretch of beach, whilst a walk in the other direction, following Stock Ghyll through woodland, will bring you to the entrancing waterfall of Stock Ghyll Force. Along with the Lake and the great walking on offer, Ambleside is also famous for its annual rushbearing ceremony and the diminutive 17th century “Bridge House” - one of the most photographed buildings in the Lake District and now the National Trust Information Centre.

An amazing place to stay. Fabulous location for closeness to Ambleside and great walks on the doorstep. The home is gorgeous with great a menu and all the rooms are of equal size and quality. Highly recommend
