The nearest walking trail is the High Peak trail which can you walk to, if you head towards Buxton on this trail you will pass the entry point for a cute homemade ice cream and café shop. The Monsal Head is another favourite which provides amazing views of the Peak District landscape.
Denver is placed centrally between the towns of Bakewell and Buxton, Bakewell has amazing architecture and is home to the famous traditional Bakewell pudding, Buxton has many independent shops, and places to eat as well as the Buxton Opera House. If you enjoy a leisurely walk around Stately homes take a visit to Chatsworth House and immerse yourself in its history and beautiful gardens.
