This was, hands down, the best home we have ever rented! The house is great and the views are even more amazing! We travel with 2 other couples every year and our adult children sometimes join us for part of the trip. What a great place for a large group! Above the garage is a very private king bedroom with ensuite and wet bar and living room. The walk-out lower level has a king bedroom, kid's bunk room, bathroom with washer and dryer, kitchen and living room with patio door. The main level has a king bedroom with en-suite, a queen bedroom with en-suite, a king bedroom with bathroom including another washer and dryer across the hall. The loft has 4 twin beds which we didn't use, so can't attest to their comfort. Plenty of room for everyone even with 2 other couples joining us for part of the week. The kitchen was well equipped and since the living and dining room are open to the kitchen it's easy to have everyone all together without feeling crowded or on top of each other. Then there's the outdoor space. It really is much more than 10 acres as the description states. A short walk past the house, there is an outdoor patio near the barn on the property with all sorts of activities---a bocce court, fire pit, 4 holes of golf, picnic table and chairs, a pond and biking or walking trails through the trees. We spent several evenings enjoying the beautiful views and playing bocce and golf while the sun went down!! The cute town of Morrisville is nearby and easy to bike or drive to. The Thompson Flour Company was a great lunch spot with homemade bread for their delicious sandwiches and breakfast pastries and breakfast sandwiches with fresh biscuits and english muffins. There are some amazing breweries nearby---Hill Farmstead, Lost Nation, Rock Art, Idle Time, Foam, Frost, Prohibition Pig. So many fun things to do in the area and places that are close enough for a day trip---bike riding the very scenic La Moille Bike Rail Trail, covered bridges, apple orchard, Cabot creamery, Ben & Jerry's, Smuggler's Notch road, Old Red Mill in Jericho, Shelburne Sugar House. Montreal, Montpelier, Burlington, Lake Champlain are all close enough to get to for day trips. I would not hesitate to rent this same home again!
