Spring Garth, our generously spacious family home, is a hidden gem in the heart of the charming village of Hampsthwaite. Only 5 miles west of Harrogate and on the edge of the Nidderdale Area of Natural Beauty it serves as an ideal base for exploring the enchanting Yorkshire Dales, the spa town of Harrogate, the historic city of York, or the bustling cities of Leeds and Bradford. With four spacious bedrooms boasting king-sized beds, it comfortably sleeps up to 8, making it perfect for your group or family getaway.

Spring Garth is a meticulously modernized property, yet steeped in history dating back to the 1700s. The large open-plan living area seamlessly combines kitchen, lounge, and dining spaces, with 6 meters of bifold doors which flood the room with light. Step outside onto a spacious patio overlooking mature gardens with several seating areas or retreat to the cosy dining hut by the serene pond—a perfect spot for summer evenings.

Inside the expansive open-plan living area you will find a well-equipped kitchen with 2 electric fan ovens, an induction hob, dishwasher, and dual fridge freezers. Your main lounge offers a comfortable sofa seating 6, a TV, and a dining table for 8, enhanced by an inviting wood-burning stove. The snug, your retreat with a second wood-burning stove, large sofa, a 50-inch TV, a dedicated workspace, and a piano, offers a cozy ambiance. Complete the ground floor experience with a utility room featuring a washer and dryer, plus a convenient downstairs cloakroom..

As you ascend the stairs, you'll find the master bedroom awaiting you, furnished with a king-sized bed and a modern en-suite bathroom featuring a spacious rainfall shower and WC. Three additional bedrooms and a house bathroom equipped with both a bath and a shower cubicle complete the upper floor accommodations.

Step outside the front door and a delightful village pub and coffee shop await you just across the road.

For keen walkers the Nidderdale way passes through the village and there are several circular walks taking in country pubs in the local villages. If Cycling is more your thing retrace the opening stage of the 2014 Tour de France which passed within 2 miles of the house on 2 successive days. All this and yet the renowned spa town of Harrogate is just a 10-minute drive away, offering many leisure and entertainment options, including the famous Betty's Tea Rooms, the beautiful Valley Gardens and RHS Harlow Carr Gardens.

Please note we have an unprotected pond in the garden and so unfortunately for safety reasons cannot take bookings for families with infants or very small children!

Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome, however please note there is a small charge of £20 per dog per booking. Please remember to select Pets as well as Adults and Children when making your booking request.

You will notice on arrival that we have a Ring Video doorbell, however to protect your privacy this is turned off (the battery is removed) and inoperable for the duration of your stay.

For the sake of our neighbours there is a 10:30 curfew outside. Thank you for respecting this!
