Spring Garth is a spacious family home in the heart of Hampsthwaite, just 5 miles from Harrogate and on the edge of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's the perfect base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, Harrogate, York, Leeds, and Bradford. With four king-sized bedrooms, it comfortably sleeps 8, ideal for families or groups.
The house blends modern comforts with 18th-century charm. The large open-plan living area combines the kitchen, lounge, and dining room, with bifold doors leading to a patio and mature gardens. Outdoors, enjoy multiple seating areas or a cosy dining hut by the pond.
Inside, the kitchen features two electric ovens, an induction hob, dishwasher, and dual fridge freezers. The main lounge seats 6, with a TV, dining table for 8, and a wood-burning stove. The snug offers a second wood-burning stove, large sofa, TV, workspace, and a piano. The ground floor also includes a utility room with a washer, dryer, and cloakroom.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king-sized bed and en-suite with a rainfall shower. Three additional bedrooms and a family bathroom with both a bath and shower complete the upper floor.
Across the road, you'll find a village pub and coffee shop. The Nidderdale Way walking trail passes through the village, and the 2014 Tour de France route is just 2 miles away. Harrogate is a 10-minute drive, offering attractions like Betty's Tea Rooms, Valley Gardens, and RHS Harlow Carr Gardens.
Please note, due to an unprotected pond, we cannot accommodate families with infants. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome, with a £20 fee per dog. A Ring Video doorbell is present but turned off for your stay. Out of respect for our neighbors, we have a 10:30 p.m. curfew for outdoor activities.
