We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful space with outside relaxing area. We biked both days of our stay and enjoyed sitting outside on the patio to relax in the evening.
The grape house is cute. It is however, the bathroom sink giggles, there was no body soap, the bed is a bit hard, the tv is too small and there is no place outside to sit due to the cushions being very wet and only having cushioned seating. I hope my review is helpful.
The Grape House was a cute guest house. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and get a good night's sleep. Also, it was conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Prescott.
It's a lovely little cottage. Quietly nestled away from the street, and has everything one would need. Complete with the convenience of off street parking it made the beginning of my stay here in Prescott that much easier. The owner is very easy and accommodating and I appreciate that as well.i will definitely use this cottage again when I return.
Very clean, great location. Bed was big and comfortable. Just had trouble when asked for a later checkout time. Didn’t receive response so checked out at 9 am as I never got confirmation and didn’t want to be charged for anything.
We stayed here a while back and really enjoyed this little house. We have it booked for next month too! Perfect size for 2 people to relax and enjoy a weekend. Easy walking distance to the downtown area too. The only thing I would recommend is the owner invest in some new bed pillows. The ones there now are pretty hard and lumpy.
The Grape Hose is exactly as it is listed.
The overall ambiance of the property is private, cozy, clean, welcoming, and the King Size bed is very comfortable. There are (2) donut shops within walking distance, and a cozy patio waiting for you when you get back to sit back and enjoy them in.
The patios are gated, so your pet is safe, and won’t escape. I took my dog to the middle school each day so she could run after her ball on a full football field. She was thrilled to escape the Valleys heat!
There is shopping either in the downtown area, or just outside in Prescott Valley. Costco, Trader Joe’s, some speciality clothing stores, etc.
I was really lucky, and Susanna the owner of the property was there with her dog Oreo. Susanna was so friendly, and has “The Vintage House” a VRBO property on site which you can also rent out should you have a large family gathering. Lovely.
I can’t wait to go back! I’ll be staying at this property again!
My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway while we attended a concert at the Findlay arena. We were able to walk downtown to the square to enjoy an outdoor band and then over to whiskey row for a few drinks. The neighborhood is safe and full of beautiful homes. The grape house was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was clean and quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the luscious patio surrounded by greenery while sipping on our coffee or a cold beer. We would definitely return.
My daughter and I came from out of state so that she could go to a nearby Nike running camp. I stayed in the Grape house with my Brittany. We hiked everyday and checked out the local dog parks. We loved it, Prescott is as dog friendly a place as I’ve been. The house was as cute as could be and the location was 10 minutes from all the hikes as well as close enough to walk to the town square. I’ve got the Grape House bookmarked for a return visit!
We needed a pet friendly base to explore Prescott. Nice fenced patio area. Well stocked kitchen, clean, with comfy bed. Quiet neighborhood downtown with walking distance to pet friendly restaurants and courthouse square.
Only complaint is the “Victorian theme” and small space did not have reasonable and comfortable seating for reading and TV watching. Could use a chair upgrade.
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! My wife and I had a great week staying at the Grape House. We were able to bring our two dogs. They also had a great time.
The Grape House is a nice place! Location! Comfy! Well-Stocked, Off-Street Parking, and Purple EVERYTHING!!
Other than dirty floor (we wore socks due to cold weather and brick floors, and our socks became quite dirty) the place is old, but well-cared for.
