Barefoot Bungalow! Ocean View Couple’s Retreat

This 2nd back from ocean front studio was completely renovated with all new modern furniture and decor, designer lighting and new flooring throughout. Other amenities include a 50” smart TV in the living room, a king size Serta bed, purchased 1/25, with high-quality linens, and a full kitchenette. New sleeper sofa.
Our balcony boasts an outstanding view of the ocean which is only steps from your door. Beach chairs are provided for your convenience.

The villa is located in Seaside, an ocean front complex in the heart of Hilton Head main beach. We are about 2 blocks from Coligny Plaza which has several restaurants, shops and entertainment. We are walking distance to Tiki Hut and there are bike rentals across the street if you would like to explore more of the island.

We are locals and would love to specialize your vacation for you. We can leave flowers or champagne if you are celebrating something.

Great Get Away

When we get away, we look for places off but near the beaten path. This met the standard and beyond. Just down from Coligny and other favorites. We took advantage of local island businesses and dining. The unit is just right for two to relax around.

Glad we returned!

This was our second stay at the Barefoot Bungalow. The location is hard to beat, it is quiet, clean, and really peaceful. We would definitely return and recommend Barefoot Bungalow!

We loved the villa, it was exactly like the pictures online, very clean and decorated very nicely. The area is quiet, and close to the beach and dining. The Klines were very nice, even let uscheck in a little early. We will definitely be baack.

Location!

We love this area in Hilton Head. The unit was as described. We loved the location of this unit and will stay here again. Just two suggestions- I didn’t see any dishes that could go in the microwave? I reheated my leftovers on a paper towel. It would have been nice to have a microwave plate- maybe I missed it? Also, the refrigerator could be upgraded in the future. The freezer was so icy. I’m sure people coming and going and the turnover with cleaning/ filling/ emptying the refrigerator doesn’t help, but in a future budget, an upgrade could be considered. Thanks for having us! We had a great week.

This is a great place for two. The condo was very clean. Nice clean shower. Short walk to the beach. Can see the beach from the balcony. One suggestion: we would have loved a tv in the bedroom to watch and relax. We had a great experience and would definitely rebook when we’re in the area!

The bungalow was everything described. Very nicely decorated and furnished. Provided beach towels and chairs. Great communication with owner. Helped with places to eat and things to do. Left us a special touch since we were celebrating our 50th anniversary. Would definitely book again!

Basic complex that fulfilled our needs as property is located on the ocean and walkable to Coligny stores. These are small condos but fine for the two of us. Furniture was new and decorated nicely. The shower needs more water pressure but was nice step-in style. The cabinet in bed area was nice to put suitcases up off floor.

Great Location

Love this location! Great spot for the beach (just remember you are by beach marker 56A). Can wash off your feet by the parking lot/bike area which is nice once you find it. You might see Cannonball jellyfish on the beach, just beware. Great walk to coffee, restaurants and shops. Such a beautiful area and seems to be very bike friendly. Roundabouts and pedestrians - be cautious. Loved the cookies upon arrival. This unit may need just a little TLC. The refrigerator door has a very loud squeak (would not recommend late night snacking if others sleeping). The screen door was completely off track - I decided to leave it for fear of breaking it. I assumed it was off track for a reason. Just little things that could be touched up and maybe new beach chairs. Very nice that they were available though. Communication was great with the host. Easy check-in. Just don't forget to lock the door when you leave, it doesn't lock automatically. Beach towels provided which was an added plus! My mom forgot hers. This unit is on the far right so when first arriving to the multiple gates, go to the your right. We didn't bring bikes - I would highly recommend at least a morning or afternoon of biking around (can rent). I'm a Gulf Shores fan, but I have to say Hilton Head may be my new favorite. It was chilly the last week of March, I would recommend April or May for warmer weather.

Quite Space

Great location with a 5 min walk to city boardwalk. Quiet building with easy parking. Bike trails just across the street. Perfect space to rest your feet at night. Owners were very informative about things to do around town.
