About this property

Cozy apartment with Nerja's coolest view

Nowhere in Nerja do you have more spectacular views than on Calle Capuchinos in San Juan de Capistrano. Here you can enjoy views of both sea, mountains and Nerja city.

The apartment is styled in calm, warm natural colors in a Spanish-Scandinavian style and was newly renovated in 2023.

There are large private terraces on 2 levels with cozy sections for both meals and relaxation.

Here you have access to Nerja's largest pool area with restaurants, bars and a supermarket within easy walking distance of the apartment (3-4 minute’s walk)

Terrace on two levels with a breathtaking 180° view of sea, mountains and the city. Sun all day, from morning to evening, with magical sunrises and sunsets. There is lounge furniture, deckchairs, dining tables and sunshades that can be folded out if needed.

The apartment has a bright living room with double doors onto a large, lovely south-facing terrace. Here there is sofa, living room table and TV as well as AC. The room is laid out in open plan to a comfortably equipped kitchen (appliances from SMEG) with a breakfast bar and stools.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms, both with sea views. Both rooms are equipped with continental king size beds (160 cm width), blackout curtains and plenty of storage options. Large bathroom with shower and bathtub.

You have free parking spaces next to the apartment.

Grocery store and the free pool area are 3-4 minutes' walk away, there are also restaurants, bars and pubs here.

Bed linen, towels (indoor use), electricity, AC/Inverter (hot and cool) and WiFi are included.

Terrace
Large terrace on two levels with a magical view of Nerja city, the sea, and the mountains. Sun all day. Several sitting areas both upstairs and downstairs. Sun awnings and parasols are available both upstairs and downstairs.

Living room
Here there is a comfortable sofa, TV with Chromecast and fast and free WiFi with internet over 300mb fiber. Double doors to the upper terrace. Open floor plan to kitchen.

Kitchen
In the kitchen there is a breakfast bar with bar stools in an open-plan layout facing the living room. There is also a fridge/freezer (SMEG), oven, induction hob, microwave oven, washing machine, coffee machine (Nespresso), kettle, toaster, juice maker and all necessary kitchen utensils.

Bedroom
There are two bedrooms, both equipped with continental king size beds (160 cm width) and blackout curtains. Sea view from both bedrooms, one room with double doors to the terrace, the other with a window. AC in one of the bedrooms the other with a fan. Lots of storage, wardrobes and chests of drawers. Sheets included!

Bathroom
The room has a bathtub, shower and toilet. Towels are included. NOTE* Pool/Beach towels are not included.

View
The view of the sea, mountains and Nerja city can be enjoyed from the terraces (both the upper and the lower terraces), the living room and the two bedrooms.

Pool
Free pool area within 3-4 minutes’ walk. Nerja's largest communal pool area includes a children's pool. There is also a small supermarket here as well as restaurants, bars and pubs. Season open from Easter – first week of November.

Free parking on the street next to the apartment.

Miscellaneous
Bus stop 3-4 minutes’ walk from the apartment, costs 1 euro to Nerja city and the beach, alternatively Taxi for the same trip costs about 7 euros.

About 50 minutes from Malaga airport by car.

The property borders Tejeda/Almijara natural park with good hiking opportunities.

Nerja is 60 km from Malaga airport and it takes about 55 minutes by car. You can also take a scheduled bus from the airport to the bus stations in Nerja.

San Juan de Capistrano is an Urbanización on the heights north of Nerja, where the Sierra Tejeda/Almijara Natural Park is right outside the door of the apartment. The urbanization is one of the most attractive urbanizations on the eastern Costa del Sol. The urbanization was designed by the famous architect Bernardo Puzuelo and built in 1982-85. It is in typical Andalusian village style and consists of whitewashed houses, beautiful flowers, palm trees and cozy alleys.

Gardens have been laid out with lawns, exotic plants and colorful flowers tended and cared for by 12 gardeners. There is a large pool and a children's pool at the communal facility. This is for residents/members and their family/guests only.

There are two restaurants under/at the back of the pool area in the complex and two right next to the pool, plus one restaurant just down the hill of the urbanization. There is also a new restaurant and bar, Kanema, in the tower by the pool area. The pool closes at 9pm in the summer, but the restaurants are open until midnight. The pool area is open seasonally from Easter to the beginning of November. There is also a playground with swings, slides etc. within the area.

The apartment borders the Tejeda/Almijara natural with fantastic hiking opportunities and perhaps a dip in the Rio Chillar river. Where the first hike starts right outside the front door and leads up to the Mirador del Capistrano (viewpoint), the hike takes about 30 minutes up but be careful not to sprain your feet as the ground is stony and sharp rocks.

Markets in Nerja is every Sunday and Tuesday between approx. 9:00-14:00. On Tuesdays there is a traditional market with locally produced products including fruit and vegetables. The Sunday market is more of a flea market and can offer both one and the other. Both market days are very pleasant.

Frigiliana lays approx. 15 minutes away by car. In 2016, Frigiliana was included in the exclusive group "Los Pueblos Más Bonitos de España", Spain's most beautiful villages. In fact, Frigiliana is the only village in the province of Málaga that counts among Spain's 34 most beautiful villages.

The Caves of Nerja - Cueva de Nerja is Europe's largest cave system and Spain's third most visited attraction. Well worth a visit, located approx. 10 minutes away by car.

Nerja, as you know, is located in the Costa Tropical. The only region in Europe where exotic fruits such as mango and avocado can be grown.
