Set on the shores of Lough Derg, Lakeside Holiday Homes are just a short walk from the pretty towns of Killaloe and Ballina. With a vast array of land and water activities, historic sites, and a bustling nightlife, Killaloe and Ballina have long been a much-loved holiday destination and a wonderful base for a self-catering holiday in Ireland Lakeside Holiday Home – Description Each self-catering holiday home is maintained to a high standard, perfect for families or a large group of friends. This 2 bed self-catering holiday homes in Killaloe sleep 4 guests and have 2 bedrooms:
Property layout – Ground floor:

- Family bathroom with shower over bath

- Open-plan dining room

Ample off-street car parking and Wi-Fi is available at Lakeside Holiday Homes.
There is also a small playground on site for kids.
Kindly note that a room on the ground floor is currently being used as a laundry room. This room will always remain locked. The laundry room is accessed through patio doors to the rear of the home. Only the patio doors provide external access to this store room for the use of the onsite manager and cleaners.
Local Area & Tourist Attractions Guests can access the town via a path, woodland walk, and beautiful boardwalk along Lough Derg. You and your guests will enjoy the pleasant 10-minute walk to the many amenities these two lakeside towns have to offer. IMPORTANT NOTES 1. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager before arrival how this is calculated or before making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid before check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
3. Towels:
Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details at the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).
