Sandpiper is a newly refurbished 2 storey apartment set above a shop, situated right in the hub of Whitstable with everything on your doorstep, from restaurants serving local produce to an array of shops. The beach is just a gentle few minutes walk through the famous smugglers alleyways. As you are centrally located in the town, wherever you explore in Whitstable, you are minutes away from stepping back into the holiday home.
On the first floor is the bunkbed room, bathroom with bath (shower head over), wash basin & WC. Further along the large hallway, you will come to the spacious open plan kitchen, lounge & diner with seating for 4. The living room has views out to the high street to watch the hustle and bustle or you can cosy down with a good film on the smart TV. The kitchen, although small, is well equipped with an oven, hob, fridge with mini freezer microwave, kettle toaster & a cafetiere. There is also a washing machine for convenience with a clothes horse.
Upstairs on the 2nd floor is the large master kingsize bedroom, with the original beams and sloping ceilings.
There is a travel cot, and a stairgate at the top of the 1st floor stairs in front of the bunkbed room.
There is free street parking on the roads to the rear of the High Street but directly outside the property there are double yellow lines. The nearest paid parking is Gladstone Road or Middle Wall car park. You can view the charges on the Canterbury City Council website. Parking can be limited in the high season but once you have parked up, you are close enough to walk into town, beach, shops etc.
You can also visit the 'Just Park' website to find out where to park in Whitstable.
There are frequent busses running from Whitstable to Herne Bay and Canterbury. You will find bus stops along High Street, Oxford Street etc.
The trains from Whitstable station will take you to Ramsgate or further afield to London. Whitstable Train Station is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre.
There are also Taxi services available for short fares or airport runs. The nearest airport is in London and the Ferry port is in Dover.
