About this property
No.5 Hedgehog Den - Two Bedroom House, Sleeps 4
Comfortable and stylish, this chic lodge is the ideal escape for couples or small families, boasting a bright, co-ordinated interior and lovely outdoor space with a hot tub. It’s perfectly positioned within Norfolk’s glorious countryside for all kinds of outdoor activities, from golf to cycling, as well as trips to the seaside and exploring the waterways of the Broads. In Great Witchingham there is plenty to see and do, with a great local pub/restaurant just a short drive away. With the Roar Dinosaur Park just a 5 minute drive away, this makes for a fun filled family day out with the dinosaur trail, animal enclosures and play park. - if you also book this property you will receive a 10% discount for the Dinosaur Park. Set just a few moments away from the property is The Bug Parc where your young ones can see hundreds of rare and unusual invertebrates.
After a long walk or a day out exploring, hang up your coat in the entrance hall and head into the lounge, where you can stretch out on the comfortable seating (there’s a sofa bed if needed), put your feet up and indulge in a movie on the Smart TV. The bright and airy kitchen/diner has all mod cons for stress-free cooking and cleaning up, with a spacious table where you can get together for sociable meals. A superb bathroom can also be found on the ground floor, and there’s a laundry room, shared between the small group of holiday homes, situated just across from the parking space. When you head upstairs you’ll discover two stunning bedrooms, both with a sloping ceiling and a skylight, one a king-size and the other a twin. In the wraparound garden there’s a gorgeous hot tub in which you can enjoy an indulgent soak, and your patio boasts outdoor furniture ready for you to linger over drinks or a meal alfresco.
This property can also be booked with Middle of Nowhere No.6 which is located next door making this great for large groups of friends or families, looking to holiday together but have their own separate space. Click the link here to view Middle of Nowhere NO.6.
Walkers and cyclists will want to get out on Marriott’s Way, a 26-mile route that runs from Norwich to Aylsham along disused railway lines, while families can take the children for a nostalgic train ride from Whitwell and Reepham Station, less than 2 miles away. For days at the seaside, the stunning beaches of Cromer and Wells-next-the-Sea are less than 25 miles, and you can access the beautiful Norfolk Broads from Wroxham, 16 miles.
