The Gem Beachfront Villa have been carefully constructed and developed by Michalis Kasiotis, a local hospitality specialist and perfectionist who aims to ensure luxury meets contemporary Greek in all his properties.
The villa is set over three floors, with three double bedrooms – fully air-conditioned – and three bathrooms. The spacious kitchen is well-equipped to offer occupants easy cooking and dining experiences. The living room, again comfortably and stylishly fitted to top international standards, opens towards the 4 x 8sq m swimming pool and recreation area, complete with sunbeds, shade and barbecue facilities. The Gem Beachfront Villa is a short drive away from the Gennadi Village centre, with its restaurants, coffee shops and bars, supermarkets, bakeries and pharmacies. One of the island’s most well-known villages - Lindos and its stunning Acropolis - are a 25 minute drive away. In the other direction, Prassonisi, known for its natural beauty and highly ranked by wind and kite surfing fans, is also within easy reach. And all of Rhodes’ major attractions, including its walled Old Town, Valley of the Butterflies, Filerimos and the ancient city of Kamiros, are easily accessed. Rhodes’ Diagoras International Airport is about an hours’ drive away.

Yia sas! Hello! My name is Michael Kasiotis and I am the owner of the Gem - Beach Villa Rhodes
I am very proud of these villas as I believe they, like other properties I have developed, ‘speak’ about my love of the island, my love of Greek architecture and my desire to offer somewhere special to ensure visitors to Rhodes have the best holiday experience.
For many years I owned and managed Rhodes Old Town’s town top jewellery centre and gallery of fine carpets and gifts. I have, however, always enjoyed cooking and entertaining and, more recently, also turned my talents to developing one of the Old Town’s top fast food outlets, a Greek deli which impressed its customers with the range and quality of its eating and drinking options.
I am passionate about the island where I was born and grew up. I have always been and will continue to be a ‘voice’ in local politics and anything that has to do with the island’s future and the services and facilities we, as Rhodians, offer to our visitors.
I live off-site but aim to ensure that my guests have a memorable experience and am more than willing to help in any way to ensure that. I have a deep knowledge of the island’s history and its places of interest and will readily answer any queries or point my guests in the right direction.
I can also assist with car or motorbike hire, extra travel arrangements, tours, tour guides etc and make suggestions and offer my opinions on local restaurants, tavernas, coffee shops and bars.
I have dual nationality – Greek and Swiss – and speak Greek, English and German.
I aim to offer you the best holiday possible on Rhodes…so please feel free to ask anything.
