About this property
The Workshop, in 18th century Lothersdale Mill
On the ground floor of an attractive former textile mill, on the Pennine Way in North Yorkshire. The rural valley of Lothersdale is five miles from Skipton and on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We offer bike use, numerous country walks and the excellent water comes from an aquifer (no chemical treatment). The popular tourist towns of Skipton and Haworth are nearby.
* The Workshop is in the same building as my other property, Shed End.
The space
The Workshop and my other holiday home (Shed End, sleeps three) are in the same building. I can therefore host five (or six if a further single bedroom - attached to the Workshop - is required). Please contact me with queries about this.
The Workshop was formerly used as a metal-working facility. It's an open-plan space with plenty of 19th century charm and cosy underfloor heating plus a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom (shower and bath). The double bed is on a mezzanine. There is a separate but attached single bedroom (ground floor) which can be included on request.
Guest access
Parking is private and just in front of the property (in front of the main mill arch, large green doors). You'll be near the edge of the village, with plenty of public footpaths nearby.
Other things to note
Bikes available, the washer and dryer are elsewhere in the building (please ask), barbecue if needed.
