About this property
The Hayloft at Lower Hurst Farm, amazing views
The Hayloft is a beautifully decorated rural getaway on a working farm in the heart of the Peak District. With breathtaking views, comfortable beds, and a plethora of walks right from your doorstep, The Hayloft at Lower Hurst Farm is perfect for couples, families with older children (please no under 16's due to being on a working farm), or small groups who want to escape to the country.
The Hayloft was recently converted to a very high standard. The Hayloft has 2 bedrooms, one king-sized with en-suite bath and shower and one twin (2 x singles) with en-suite bath and shower. Bathrooms have rain showers, Villeroy & Boch baths, and underfloor heating. The beds are Hypnos and extremely comfortable.
The kitchen is compact but has all you need for a breakaway, with plenty of dining space and Neff appliances including a small dishwasher. There is a seating area to relax with 2 comfy sofas (please note that The Hayloft doesn't have a TV but there is wifi).
The Hayloft has a huge boot room with a separate guest WC. It is perfect for muddy boots and wet coats after your walks across the dales and provides plenty of space to store bikes.
There are 2 dedicated parking spaces outside the front door and adjacent to the footpath between Beresford Lane and the road between Hartington and Hulme End.
There is no washing machine in the Hayloft but you are welcome to use the farm’s laundry in the yard which is equipped with washing machines, tumble dryer, and drying rack.
Things to note: The Hayloft is on a working farm, so you will experience a small amount of traffic moving around the yard. We request for your own safety that you stick to footpaths and do not wander around the farm.
No children under 9 years old - this is due to the property being on a working farm.
